Linux Mint 22.3 -Cinnamon Kernel 6.8.0-139-generic Eddie UI 2.26.6 About a week ago trying to connect through Eddie fails with an error message posted below. Trying to turn on the Network Lock before trying to connect will fail with an error message and typically causes the UI to freeze. Attempting iptables-restore either is doing nothing quietly or fails without an error message. It will be 'running' for 5 or more minutes without showing the command prompt before I force quit. Hitting any key followed by the Enter key will show the message "iptables-restore: line 1 failed" and return to the command prompt. Any ideas on how to fix this?

The question in the title comes from this screenshot (line 3 and line 1). Is this a bug or maybe I don't understand how these are calculated ?

Hi, I need a bit of help: I installed ZeroTier (a closed network VPN) and Eddie decided to use its new adapter and thus stopped connecting. In Settings, Networking, I put in "Interface used for connection" the right one, but I see in the logs that Eddie continues to add its routes to ZeroTier: 2026.09.07 23:00:49 - Routes, add 213.152.161.27/32 for interface "ZeroTier". There are other settings that I need to change? Thank you.

Hello, I would like to install Eddie to Android TV, but need few tips. TV is Philips OLED908, I think Android TV version is 11. I didn't update to latest version for my TV, which is 12. 1. Does Eddie support auto-connect VPN (on reboot or shutdown/power on) on that Android version? 2. I see Eddie has option to whitelist or blacklist apps, but didn't find what happens with other apps. If I whitelist only 3 apps on my TV (TV streaming app, SmartTube and Stremio), does that means all other apps have their Internet blocked, or they access Internet via regular connection? 3. I don't think this is possible with Eddie, but who knows. Can I have 1 app access regular Internet (TV streaming app), 2 apps via VPN, and everything else blocked from Internet? Thank you for help.

This has been an issue for years. A kvm/qemu guest using NAT (default) to connect to the internet via the host does not work because Eddie network lock prevents it. Can or will AirVpn whitelist libvirt's virtual interfaces by default in Network Lock. Thank you

Feature request: an event that fires whenever the Network Lock (re)applies its firewall rules This is a feature request for Eddie — VPN Tunnel (Desktop edition), repo AirVPN/Eddie. Summary Add a new Eddie event (visible in Preferences → Events) that fires whenever the Network Lock finishes applying or re-applying its firewall rules — in any scenario, including mid-session recoveries of the elevated service that do not involve a full tunnel reconnection. The goal is to let users run a custom hook after the Network Lock is settled (for example /etc/ufw/after.init) to restore firewall rules that the Network Lock overwrote, such as outbound NAT for Docker containers. Environment Eddie 2.26.2 (eddie-ui), GNU/Linux (Linux Mint), OpenVPN over tun0. Network Lock mode: linux_iptables_legacy (see ~/.config/eddie/Recovery.xml😞 Problem Eddie's Network Lock works by writing strict firewall rules (on Linux it can use nftables / iptables-nft / iptables-legacy). Those rules replace/clean part of the existing chains. Hello everyone, Before posting, i've checked different topics on the same issue (Here, here, here, here), but I didn't find any solution. Before, I was on Win11 with the AirVPN app, and port forwarding was working. I switchted my mini server on Proxmox, and put qbittorrent behind gluetun. It works in a way, as I can download and upload, even if the DHT number is half what it was on Win11. But the main issue is that I'm struggling accessing my qbittorrent Web UI from outside. On the AirVPN port forwarding admin, when I test open my 2 ports (one for download, one for the web ui), I have connection timeout. Port 37596 is for download. Port 30306 is for Web UI. Hi I am moving from another vpn, I have got a 3 day sub to try out. I have on a linux mint v22 box and have got sorted with the software i run and its all ok. However once confirmed working i now want to set the vpn so it starts up when the box is cold booted or rebooted. (doesnt happen often but nice to set and forget) I have read a faq's for airvpn, eddie ui and looked at all the menus in config and thought it looks like just "connect at startup" and "dont ask elevation on every run" need to be ticked. When i do a cold boot or a reboot Air VPN doesn't load at all, so my other 2 softwares load and pick up my real ip, so i have to close them down manually start airvpn then my apps. What have i missed ? Thanks in advance of any help.

I realized they are very unstable - my client lost connection all the time (my ping to the swiss server is 10ms). I realized they have several times an hour problems with packet loss: Is this Problem now to AirVPN? It seems also - at least for my case - it they are unusable like they are. I mean all 10 minutes I get disconnected. What is going on there? I now switched to a DE server - so far it works.
