Species being imported as other species occurs from time to time. I wouldnt conclude anything to be honest.

I was looking into where my endlers came from (I think they are actually endlers) and I think they may have been imported as guppies, would that be possible?
Pictures please!!!
Two or three clubs still seem to be active but many have disappeared 😞
Hi @Caryl, It was a long time ago! What a shame that activity on the forums have changed, are the clubs very active still? Haha that's a good point! I'm starting to save for my reef setup now, so that once I have to pay for a house i'll have the money tucked away for setting a tank up & stocking it. Only hiccup will be if the house deposit fund needs some help from the tank fund 🥲
I'm old, I had to look up what Pickle Rick was then was confused as to what it was made from. Is it made of silicone or the mould it was made in silicone and, if so, what was the pickle made out of? Most important on any substance is to check what's in it as some additives (like mould inhibitors) are toxic to fish.
Hi Jo, Welcome back. I am trying to figure out who you are but with no success. I can only think of one Jo from fish keeping in the past but she isn't you. Very little happens on these forums now unfortunately as people seem to prefer taking advice from unknown people on the internet. The camaraderie from the clubs seems to have disappeared. In today's economic climate, I am not sure you can buy a house (especially in Auckland) and set up a marine reef tank at the same time! Good luck!
I hadn't found this group yet, thanks so much!
Good to be back! Haha dark side of my wallet most likely 😅

Hi Jo, good to see you are back with the hobby and moving to the dark side lol. Over here nowadays https://www.facebook.com/groups/ophidiomaniacs
Hi all, Jo here. Getting back into fishkeeping and thought i'd drop a hello 👋 It's so nice to see some familiar usernames on here! Not sure if any of you will remember me, but I have fond memories of the convos in forums & at meet-ups, getting waist-deep in mud on wild molly hunts 😅, and trading free labour for spending time with @livingart & his better half C's menagerie back in my early 20's (AKA ~20 years ago). Back then I kept FW tropical tanks and some herps, but downsized to nothing in 2013 following my marriage ending. From there I went back to uni for 7 years & studied bacteriophages/microbiology before doing a 180 and starting my own business in my old profession working with dogs 🤣. I now live on Auckland's north shore in a little flat by myself (if you don't count the dog & cat), and so far have resisted the urge to get any tanks (though I do have the materials for a paludarium build sitting in a cupboard waiting for me to get stuck into, haha!) I'm on the way to buying a new home in the next year or 2, and am spending the meantime getting educated & planning to set up my very first reef tank once I move to the new house. So i'm back in here reading guides & forum posts, and getting familiar with the process - i'm loving the learning curve and excited to get started, but also really enjoying being able to take my time researching & planning. Though knowing me, some FW trops will probably sneak into the house at some point once I get more involved... Keen to join AF
