A classmate has invited me to a Halloween costume party. I’ve never been to one, but it sounds like fun and I am looking forward to it. When I was a kid, I loved Halloween and to this day, I generally carve a pumpkin, insert candle, sit on the porch and watch it. In 1969, my friend’s Mom made our costumes and took us all over town trick’er treating. I was a skeleton and I remember it like yesterday. I also remember his Sister sitting in her bedroom making and cutting out Halloween... Read more
Hello, I would like to sell a lightly used HP Omnibook. The model number is 14-fp0023dx. It has 16gb RAM and 500gb hard drive space. I purchased it from an Engineering Intern after they finished college. It comes with a working pen that can be used in paint, notes, and other programs. I’ve used it twice since purchasing. Thanks!

Hey folks, I wanted to ask for some smoke and prayers for my wife and give a little explanation for why I’ve been pretty absent around here and elsewhere for the last month and a half. My wife has been dealing with some significant health issues for the last few years, and we’ve spent a lot of that time chasing answers without much success. Around May/June of this year, things finally started coming together and we learned that there were actually a couple of compounding issues, including a... Read more
On a long road trip, spending the night in Rapid City, went to the Dakotah Steakhouse for dinner - food was great! Steak was perfect. Knife was absolute junk. It’s obscene to have a customer use a dull pruning saw on a piece of well marbled medium rare beef! I broke out the custom 110 Magnacut and proceeded to effortlessly slice off nice bites. If you sell good beef you should at least offer sharpened Russsel or Old Hickory. One should not have to grate off a tender piece of butter like... Read more
I’ve been looking for a soda replacement. Been replacing it with lemon water, but it gets a bit boring. I found a few things today and came home and made a non alcoholic evening sip. 1 TBS peach vinegar 2 TBS tart cherry juice Juice of 1 lemon Mix well, add carbonated water and pour over ice. Pretty good drink. I’ll be experimenting a bit more over the coming days.

How about I just share knife stuffs I forge my blades to shape because that's how I learned to make knives back when we had places called Libraries filled with Books. When you forge how do you actually cut steel? With a hot cut of course. Using the rounded side of my hammer to cut nearly through, and finish when cooled using the vise to hold the cutoff. Then into the forge to shape things like a blade... Read more
