I have a 40 hp 2 strokeYamaha now and I am upgrading to a Honda 50 hp 4 stroke and I have Yamaha controls and I read somewhere that you can use Yamaha controls by using some kind of adapters, has anyone done this and if so can you hit me up with the right link to buy them, Thanks.

Today is a very exciting day, we bought our 1993 22' Cruiser (Pippa) and brought her home !! During the drive home, the rub rails on both sides separated a bit from the hull in spots. I know this boat hasn't been trailered anywhere in at least 4-5 years (other than 1 block from the water to the boat storage when the previous owners hauled it out each winter), so driving home on country roads didn't do the old rub rail rivets any favors and I'm guessing that caused a few to snap. Our family is ready to upgrade from our 17' Arima to a 22' Cruiser (we'd also consider a 23 Venture if there was one nearby). Figured this is the forum for newbie intros. Just joined up. Still looking for our C Dory 16. We live in Portland,OR and have a place on Lopez Island, so want a little boat to mess around with in the calmer parts of the Salish Sea with grandkids. The 22s and 25s are a bit more than we want. Looked at a nice 16, but the motor had over 3000 hrs so passed on it. This looks like a great community to join so we’ll keep looking.

Stainless steel Wallas 800 single-burner stove/cooktop and heater. 12v, paraffin/kerosene/diesel stove with heater blower lid! Provides an efficient cooking surface and enclosed cabin heater. **note: if this has been rehashed recently please share thread.** We have a 94 Angler 22. Currently has a 2014 90hp HO etec with a bad tilt/trim. Etec has been problem free and very low maintenance. I'm musing/fantasizing about an electric cruiser, and something like a C-Dory 22 seems like one of the few hulls that might be efficient enough for it to work. Going at planing speeds is just going to be unrealistic with current battery technology, but does anyone have a good sense of how much power it takes to get a C-Dory to hull speed? For folks who have 6HP or 9.9HP kickers, how many mph can you get up to with them? Avi
