I need to have some of the aluminum and galvanized body parts for my Series 1 painted. There is some prep work to do but, all paint has been removed. Can anyone recommend some quality paint shops that you have used on your Land Rover projects that are located in or near central Virginia? Thanks
I have two sets of side steps. I believe the top style is from 97 model year and the bottom from 94/95. I’ve installed the 94/95 style successfully a few times (on and off for sliders). The 97 style is giving me trouble. Do they install... Looking for help with side step install
Been throwing around a few ideas on making a gauge pod that goes on the upper dash. I'm playing with a couple of ideas to angle the pods towards the driver, and towards the driver and up a little from horizontal. Did a couple of concept designs quickly, any thoughts? (LHD pictured)
Real world feedback wanted on the Jonny Joint bearing rear trailing arms. Assuming they have more flex and range of motion compared to a traditional cranked rear arm. How much noise or vibration do the chassis end mounted bearings cause?
Hi all, 1994 D90 Nas with 3.9L and manual trans. Stalls while driving. Very intermittent and difficult to duplicate, but usually when coming to a stop/slowing down for a turn. It stalls out regardless of throttle input and will not restart for a few mins and then will restart and drive normal for quite a while (30+ miles). When it dies I have observed: 35-40psi fuel pressure, visible spark with inline spark tester and good wave sign from speed transducer using an oscilloscope (when rolling)... Stumped on stalling issue
Anyone have any experience with this style of front radius arm?
Hello Everyone, I recently purchased a 1998 Defender 110 and am absolutely in love. I took it in for inspection (Massachusetts requires annual inspections) and realized that both brake light were out. Both bulbs were bad so I changed them. The left side light only functioned with the headlights on, and seemed super bright so I’m assuming it was actually the brake filament that was stuck on and would turn off if the headlights were off. No changes when depressing the brakes. The right side... Brake light problems
Looking for details on the wheels that came with the RRC. They look amazing on the truck but just can’t find a fifth wheel for a spare. These look like a custom job. Fits the original RR center caps from the pre p38 trucks. Will really the paint on the logo in yellow obviously. Currently running 265/75/16. Too much tire for the truck if you ask me, but I am correcting some things... Need info on wheels. RG Designs RG42
I am finally doing my turbo upgrade and I am super stoked. But I just hit a snag and reached out to Alisport to see if I am crazy. I went to change the oil drain and oil feed lines and it seems that i need a different nipple for both their connections to the block. Has anyone changed one of these recently? 1993 Defender 110 200 tdi
Anyone have good experiences having their prop shafts rebalanced? Double Cardon front already. Dealing with 40mph light flutter sound. Drives me nuts!
