Have several sets of German MG3 parts for converting your MG42, M53, etc to shoot 7.62 Nato/308 Winchester ammo. The only thing you will still need is a 7.62/308 barrel. These sets have the desirable "0" marked feed trays and feed pawls so they'll run belts or M60 links. They also have new springs in the feed pawls. Starting this thread as I dont want to Hijack someone else's. Anyhow, I've been dabbling into making 543 Hand Guards. I got the lower section done basically. Took 3 different goes at it as I started with a broken HG I had to repair. Was broken in the usual spot and the top half of the HG was busted as well.
