hi all, Now that i have a 6.4 cammed and procharged car runs great pulls hard , maybe a little tooo hard after a second gear pull i can smell my clutchs in the auto. this has only happened the once as now i drive it like an old man listing to the blower whine. dodge boy done the the trans tune long ago and since then iv made some small custom changes to how i like it. is there a way to increase the clamp pressure of the clutchs or reducing the slip in 2nd,3rd Attached Files bens procharger build rev 25 current.hpt (977.9 KB)

I have a Sea-Doo 1503 4-TEC conversion running a Bosch ECU that has been programmed as a 2024 GTR. The engine starts and runs properly, but while testing it on the trailer it hits a very definite hard cut at approximately 5,700 rpm. So far I have: Raised the normal engine RPM limit. Raised the VSS-related limiter values. Temporarily disabled the torque-limit switch for testing. Checked for DTCs?none are currently showing. Replaced the crankshaft-position sensor after getting a current P0335. That code is now gone, but the 5,700 rpm cut remains. The dash selection/mode buttons are presently disconnected, although the dash itself is connected and operating. Because the ski is stationary and showing zero vehicle speed, I?m wondering whether the ECU is applying a stationary, neutral, VSS-fault or operating-state RPM limit that I haven?t located. I?ll attach the HPT file. Could someone familiar with these Bosch Sea-Doo calibrations please have a look and tell me which table or operating condition could command a cut at roughly 5,700 rpm? I?m particularly interested in whether this is fuel cut, torque intervention, a stationary limiter or something related to the missing switch controls. i am looking for any good basis for upgraded tune files for my gt. it has 21lb injectors cold air intake bbk plenum and intake manifold. running msd coils. 5 speed manual, 3.73 gearing, im looking for better throttle response. HI Guys, i have a customer wanting us to build his 2018 Camaro for mid Nine second passes (street and strip duties) and looking to see if anyone has gone down that route. its LT4 so assuming engine build, supercharger, e85 ect. not sure what mods the 10 speed trans, diff and axles would be required. Not really any of these done over here so doing some ground work . Thanks in advance..
Guys, I have a GenV LT1 with a BTR220 cam. The transmission is a T56 (from 2000 Camaro) and this setup is in my 68 Camaro. The T56 has a single disk clutch (not the dual mass/dual disc) and I have a 9" Ford rear axle with a 3:70 gear. The drivetrain does have some "compliance" slop, which feeds the bucking situation. I have the tune in very good shape, however I am struggling a bit with bucking/surge at low speed (just off idle) in 1st or 2nd gear. BACKGROUND OF SWAP : Since I have a swap vehicle with the older T56 transmission, my [Trans Current Gear] does not change and is locked at "7" because the T56 does not have gear position. Also, I do not have a clutch switch signal and my [Clutch Pedal Position] is always at 100%. Therefore, my Driver Demand [Desired Torque (Increasing/Decreasing)] tables only use Gear 7, but I have them working well for my vehicle.... except for the low speed bucking. WHAT I HAVE DONE FOR TUNING OUT THE BUCKING: I have tried to tune the VTT in the low airmass/lower RPM areas where bucking occurs. As I understand the goal for VTT tuning ideally is to have the [Predicted Engine Torque Cmd] to always be slightly higher than [Engine Torque] during steady state driving. During steady state driving, the problem that I am seeing is my [Predicted Engine Torque Cmd] is slightly LOWER than [Engine Torque] by about 10 ft-lbs or less. I have gone down the rabbit hole of reducing the VTT torque in the spark and airmass/MAP tables where the low speed bucking occ
I am running an LM7 in my sand rail, it has a RHP truck plus cam, a 102mm drive by cable throttle body that adapts back down to the stock truck intake, and short headers that dump into about 8" resonators. I had been having oil pressure issue, so I did a ton of work after owning this sand rail for about a year and a half, taking it out 4 times, and having issues every time within 45 minutes, I have finally got the engine rebuilt and decided to toss in the cam while I was that far in. Now I am just trying to figure out how to tune it well enough that I can take it to an event in 2 weeks, and have some fun with it. I don't need to squeeze every bit of power out of it that I can, I just want it to run right. It does start up and idle fine (and sounds damn good), the issue is, testing is hard because I have to trailer it 90 minutes to the dunes. I just got the HP tuners MPVI4 a couple of weeks ago, and have been playing with it, but I am still far from being a tuner. So I am wondering if I can find a tune with similar specs that will work without risk of hurting the motor, or if I can get some help figuring out what I need to modify. I am putting the motor in this weekend, and hoping to get it to the dunes the following week, and after the year and a half of nothing but issues, I am trying to get this to run right because I think the wife is a little frustrated that we take all the time and money to get out there for 30 minutes of riding before we pack it back in the trailer. It was a drive by wire setup. I loaded all the information into a green blue one for him (he got the wrong harness and wanted to use it) and he then had issues with his harness. It was an amazon one so I had him correct the issues with it mainy the oxygen sensor ground and then the one for the maf sensor. He has a drive by cable throttle body on it off a 2002 6.0 engine. Transmission is a 700r4 so I set the transmission to manual. Vats off and fans on. When he starts it the truck starts great and idles great. When given rapid throttle it will stall. If you ease onto the throttle it revs up perfectly fine as shown in the logs. I am using evans performance academy files for the setup and am logging the throttle and idle. From my understanding this is a throttle follower issue. I tried giving it more airflow and still the issue persists. Went back to stock settings. I edited near everything in this area and no results just seems to make it worse. So I am stumped and looking to for an experienced hand to assist with it. Hello, I'm running a 5.3 using a P01 and 12202088 OS. The engine is in my little MGB and I'm running a T5 with a 3.23 axle ratio. As you can imagine, it is traction limited especially in 1st and 2nd. I ran across some information about grounding red pin #53 to access the traction control timing tables. From what I read, it sounds like you could maybe add a switch to the shifter that's enabled in first and second that would help traction wise. Does anyone have any experience using this approach? Is it viable or a dead end? Thank you!
