In the latest dev log, the dev looks back at the core assumptions behind the sequel, from systems and strategy to resource management, the Dowding System, and one continuous campaign. In the U.S. Marines campaign, just before the Marshall Islands scenario, a green pushpin is added to the campaign map if the player succeeded in having USS Liscome Bay survive the previous scenario – Gilbert Islands. In the hover text of this pushpin, “Marshall Islands” should be replaced by “Gilbert Islands”, while “Marianas” should be replaced by “Marshalls”.
Hello Slitherine Team, how about having regularly scheduled Warhammer 40k Battlesector tournaments. The game as far as I can tell is active and popular with DLC, etc.! The Field of Glory game series hosts tournaments consistently (which is a good thing), is there limited server space or something else holding up hosting tournaments? Thank you
Hi. I'm playing in spanish and ingame there are some english warnings about missing texts. I'd like to switch to the English version, but I don't see the usual way to change the language on Steam. Is there another way to do it?
Hi everyone! We’ve been continuing to work on ICBM: Escalation and now that the major AI update is out, we’ve been making small fixes and improvements where we can, but our attention has been mainly focused on our new upcoming DLC. As you may have been able to guess, from subtle hints like the new loading screen and Steam trading card featuring the DF-41 mobile ICBM, or less subtle hints, like that time we openly said it in the last DLC dev diary and then publicly announced it later, our newest DLC is focused on what I think many people would agree is the most obvious contender. With a substantial nuclear arsenal, a huge roster of unique indigenous units, a massive army and considerable geopolitical sway, our next DLC is about China! Like our last two DLCs, this one will feature new Chinese unit cosmetics as well as an 11-mission campaign spanning from shortly after the end of WWII and into the not-so-distant future. Now, some of you might be wondering what’s special about this campaign, and why it’s called Assassin’s Mace. While the USSR campaign focused on matching or overwhelming NATO’s capabilities, and the DLC US campaign focused on being an unbridled powertripping psychopath, China’s campaign is also asymmetrical, but this time in another direction. You see, while the US and USSR came out of WWII as obvious winners and new undisputed superpowers, China wasn't quite as lucky. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. While we might think of China as being an e
1. The game needs to be advertised much much more, the only reason I even found out about it is because of a random Reddit post. 2. Total war DoW 4 should be used for advertising purposes! 3. more advertising ...more players...more money 3. Make game much better! Better/more interresting game ... more players...more money 4. Some player wishes from reddit: - random map generator and random enemy army generator for skirmish - Army painter - better AI - to work on ps5 - a free rotating faction to try every week in crusade - setting option before campaign for max unit LVL, maybe from 5 to 25 in crusade - I would like to see next: that I can save unit max lvl and its bonuses and reuse them from start in next crusade with those max bonuses, this would be ideal for hardest crusade, or maybe if they add one more extra hard for those reuse LVLs
Hi. In every campaign starting in 1054 Zagwe capital is in Lalibela region on the first turn but in the second turn switches to Aksum region (the palace in Lalibela disappears and appears a new one in Aksum).
Some of the wheels are missing or placed incorrectly. Is this a known bug, is there any solution or is it graphic related.

If you change your mind about something then post a new entry, I will not be reviewing old posts after they have been processed. Use any Ancients army, from the original FoG game or any DLC. Give the army name and it's dates (e.g. Cypriot 1475-1489). There are NO Allies. You may not select an Army list that has already been chosen, however there are no restrictions on multiple armies of the same nationality as long as they are for different dates. You must have all the Medieval DLCs to enter. By entering you are agreeing to abide by the rules viewtopic.php?t=121960 and are committing to completing 8 games in the 8 week time period, If you are unable to commit to this then do not enter. The competition runs from 3rd October - 29th November (8 weeks). To select a Map you need the Region (Med., N. Europe, Middle East, Tropical, Desert or Steppe) and the Type (Agricultural, Plains, Hilly, Wooded or Marshy - Mountain is excluded as it leads to maps being too restricted). Tropical, Tropical Marshy or Tropical Plains. Desert and Steppe have no type. The Regions for each army are listed below. If you don't select a map then it will default to Pot Luck. So if for example you select an Alan army then for the Map you can EITHER select Pot luck (which will mostly be Agricultural) OR N. Europe and one of Agricultural, Rough, Wooded or Marshy. My hope is that players will select some of the les
