Looking to buy an Ithaca 600 20 gauge. Prefer 28" barrels but would consider 26"

I have spent the last couple of days scouting fields. I could be wrong; I was once before. It looks like we should be headed the for an earlier harvest. We are in one of the better areas as far as crops are concerned. The dry areas should be earlier, but we are going to have a good crop and it is well matured.

When my girl was six months old she fell down the stairs and injured her knee. We took her to the vet and they think she sprained her ACL, but didnt tear it. We are now entering our second hunting season, and after a hard hunt day she often limps on that leg for a day. Does anyone use any supplements for joint wear or inflammation? Any ideas for knee support? She has too much go to ever let it bother her, but I would like to help if I can.

Anyone use Fiebing's paste, or spray, to clean off old oil before conditioning for the upcoming season?

What does everyone prefer? Do you have multiple guns for different scenarios? When walking big fields with a group I use my Browning Gold 12 gauge so that I can rip off additional shots if needed with larger flushes. I prefer my O/U when it is just myself and my German Shorthair walking tighter cover in smaller fields. Feedback?

Has anyone been on the ground in eastern MT? Are bird numbers looking any better than last year? I'm headed there to hunt in a few weeks so I guess I'll find out soon enough. Hopefully it can't be any worse than last year...
