Interesting. My general impression is Siri AI is slower than the old Siri, yet overall much better. I'm actually not sure you can decide at all whether you want the old Siri in 27.

Our hosting company had a mandatory reboot coming soon, and I just punched it ahead of time. Only 390 days? :p I have a server at home that almost hit 1000 until a recent catastrophic power failure took it out (yes, it's always on a UPS!). A quick look around seems to indicate everything came up normally, but I'll keep an eye out for any surprises tomorrow.

The variable aperture is neat, although it's unclear to me how useful this is in practice (given the ultimately limited sensor size). Hard to say how much A20 Pro has improved per se (it seems from M5 vs. M6 that this isn't a huge year for the CPU) vs. how much of the performance improvement is due to the vapor chamber. Good either way. Can't decide if I like the burgundy.

Last year we inherited a dog from our neighbors who were not taking care of it. It's a pretty black mix that has what looks to be Shepherd and maybe lab and perhaps even husky because of her pale blue eyes. Along the way she picked up a partner, a big brown hound dog That looks to be some sort of a coon dog pitbull mix with maybe a little bit of Shepherd in it not sure. That dog is friendly to me and is obedient around me, but he sees anyone that he doesn't know as a threat and is very aggressive towards them. We've fed both dogs, which makes them ours by our county ordinances. I am unable to keep them in our yard because they continually climb out of the fence. I've attempted to block the top of the fence with wire tomato cages, but I haven't managed to cover the entire surround of our yard because it's such a large area and this push to contain him is very recent. Yesterday, he pushed me to the breaking point by chasing a woman in the street very aggressively and I was afraid that he was going to bite her. He did the same thing a day before to a dude. The black dog amps him up every time by barking at these "invaders". He's been doing this for months and I just haven't been paying attention to it. So yesterday I bought a collar and a leash, and I have tied him inside of our fence. I don't know what else to do. He's taking it quietly, not resisting, unaware of why his life is now pinned down to a small semicircle. I could buy some sort of a kennel cage and erect it in the ba

I can use the Max pretty comfortably with one hand but couldn't go a whole lot wider. We'll see after holding one in the flesh, but my sense is that I'll be going for a Max again this year.
