I don't have an EV.i do however watch TV.After watching an article regarding an EV owner unsuccessfully getting permission from his council to having the appropriate equipment fitted in the pavement thus allowing him to recharge at home was refused due to various reasons one of which was a trip hazard,,I can only applaud the council on their amazing ability on eradication of all their pot holes on the roads and pavements,,unless it's double standards

Is it the "norm" to have 2 splitter sockets to a twin outlet power bollard in effect having four EHU cables running instead of just the two ?

Hello, I am currently staying in Eguisheim and will be travelling to Lake Annecy in a couple of days time. I have a caravan and my friends a motorhome. What is the best route please? Current route takes approx. 4.5-5 hours. Thank you in advance.

I want to turn off heating for weekends, but automatic heating on low row doesn’t do setting for each day, e.g. if I set time on day 1, each day is set to same time. Apart from that, heating would start immediately once I turn on heating and temperature is below set temperature, it doesn’t start from start time set on automatic heating, the clock is set correctly on alde.

Hi, we reported some faults to the dealer who supplied our caravan in June and we have not had any progress with the repairs. They blame the manufacturer, but the delays are unreasonable and I'm not sure it's Coachman, or is it. In which case is it reasonable to remind them both of the 2015 sales of goods Act which states defects should be put right in a reasonable time? Just asking

Hi, I’m new here. We were on a site near hayfield at the weekend and had problems with the water, which I now know was peat sediment in the site water. I fill our aqua rolls up as it was going dark and did notice the site tap pressure was bet low ( took about 15mins to fill up) I then had problems with the water on the caravan, it kept stopping and the pump getting noisy. It was dark so hard to investigate. I flushed the pump with the tap ( whale submersible) and eventually got it going, to some degree. Back home yesterday and I found peat sediment in the non return valve on the caravan socket. All is fine now. Has anyone else had this? How common is it. I’m going to filter the tap water when I fill the aqua rolls next time

Hi all! As the title suggests, I'm new to all this caravanning malarkey. I work away from home a lot, and I reckoned caravanning, though not as straightforward, is a lot cheaper than hotels or Air BnB. We have a Vogue 418 GTS 2005, with a Vango Kalari 420, and that suits just me fine, but with my wife and dog, it's a little too compact. I will be looking for something a bit bigger, probably twin axle. I'm towing with an Ineos Grenadier, so weight isn't an issue.

Hi all, I have friends who have a 2008 Fiat Ducato Cheyenne 696 and are considering towing a car behind it - a Nissan Micra - aside from all the legal requirements which I've asked them to check as I'm no expert , can anyone recommend someone who could fit whatever is needed to the back of the motorhome - they live in Oxfordshire. This morning on the Tele box, Rip of Britain, (I think) was a couple with the dreaded panoramic window crack, 2020 van, dealer said, sold as seen, Swift said out of warranty, and they have only had " a few" reports of failures. Which legal are getting involved through the couple, Awaiting a follow up to this.

Hi guys hope you can help I have a Luna Quarsa 462 2009 I have lost the Black plastic combination washer and locking nut that screws onto the back of the damper rod this nut holds down the plastic cover that the hand brake and jockey arm goes thought could anyone tell me where I any can order one of these nut I live in Australia so need to get one from over were you are thank for your time and help in advance.

So went out this weekend!!! Saturday morning came to turn it around with motor mover and opposite side pin broke🤬🤬 Sorted that same as before, with motor mover engaged on wheels powered remote up only to find the damn thing wouldn't stop!!! Using hand brake on caravan or pressing 2 buttons on remote cancel it would stop it. Got to site used again and it was fine🤔 Got home engaged it again and wouldn't stop🤬🤬 Any ideas!! Thanks

On arrival at a site a week ago, when we connected the water, we noticed that the pipe under the sink had come loose and water had pooled at the bottom of the cupboard. We reconnected the pipe. We called a caravan tech out who told us that the meter was showing that some water had flowed from that leak under the seat in the living area, under where the water pump etc is. He said that he would have to take everything out - fridge/pump etc - to be able to get to any water underneath. There is no damage to the floor at all. I wondered if we should do this?
