Looking for our first GW. Our prev boat was dual console so looking for walk around or center console for easier fishing. We like the storage on walkarounds but also like open fishing on CC. We live in Maine so need protection from elements so thinking maybe Gulfstream 232 or Fisherman 230/236 (with curtains). Years 2014-2020? But would consider older if good shape and low engine hrs. Thank you!

Seawater ingress is happening only at planning speeds and it is coming in on starboard side cabin V birth just around the window frame area , not the gasket ( from liner internal space above and below window frame). This is absolutely not from saltwater spray or waves coming up onto that part of the deck. The window gasket is also not the issue since no splash happens there. I’m hoping to spend some time reading through older discussions and getting familiar with the community. There’s still a lot I don’t know, so I’m looking forward to picking up some useful information along the way.

I ask this question because the ACR EPIRB on our boat is mounted inside the storage locker forward of the helm. I have always thought that they should be mounted in a place in which they are not enclosed or unable to reach the surface if necessary. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I think they have always put the aft pump under the baitwell. That's not ideal because I like to see if the switch works annually. Other than removing the baitwell, my only other option is to fill the bilge with enough water that it turns on. The problem with that is it is gonna move all the debris, if any, towards the pump. So I'm wondering if anyone has thought this through and moved the pump to a more accessible place?

I have a 232 gulfstream 2008 with twin motors. I have a thru hull transducer B175HW. Where would be the best place to install this? the ducer has a 20 degree.

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a 2027 326. I have previously posted on deciding between a Regulator 31 vs the GW 326. Though the Regulator has standard features I really desire such as a lithium battery setup and standard Seakeeper Ride I think the GW 326 is a bit cheaper and fits better with my anticipated use. Hi All - I'm hoping someone has had experience replacing the masthead light on a 1996 Voyager (or similar). I am fairly certain this is the replacement part: Perko Windshield Vertical Mount All-Round Light - 1124DP2CHR​ Both the base (attached to the intersection of the two front windshield plates) and the stem are old/corroded. I will also be replacing the panel switch. The danger is the wiring between the stem/base and wherever it goes to to reach the switch panel. I started to... Read more

Hey guys, on my 2006 marlin todsy, had someone lean against it too hard and shattered.... glass cleaning is terrible as you can imagine.... imagine my best option is having a window/glass show just custom make one? Let me know if anyone has any thoughts thanks!

I am in the process of finalizing on a lightly-used Freedom 255 (and am really excited). Previous owner’s selected options almost exactly as I’d have done, but not the cockpit step. I’d like to buy and install one. Is G-W where I should start? And is the installation pretty straightforward? Thanks in advance.
