Hi, I have received a ton of useful information getting my Tascam 38 set up with my Tascam M-30 mixer.. so thanks for that to this forum! Anyway - I have run into this problem with the M-30's submix section. I use the submix section to monitor inputs and tape playback (selecting between post and tape) and can pan things left or right on all but 2 channels. I’m at the PLASA show in london and in the classic gear we have some live sound mixers from the eras of David Bowie, the Stones, pink Floyd, slade and others. Chris who is collection it now has the complete pink Floyd Pompeii rig. He’s loaned it to Nick Mason for some of his charity events he supports here in the U.K. The band Slade might not be that well known to those in the US, but they were huge here in the Glam Rock days. I had a little time over the holiday weekend and just wanted to use the 1982 Tascam M-30 I have, rather than let it sit inactive too long. I have a few other Tascam boards, but anyhow... I just connected a cd player, tuner and cassette deck to it for now, its not being utilized for multitrack recording as it was designed for, hopefully I can get to that in the near future... I wanted to go thru a bunch of old cassettes I have, I used to tape alot of music from FM radio. I figured I might... Read more

I too have had to pay a lot of money for the switches sold on E bay to fix decks. Well with time put in for research, I was able to find the same exact switch that is sold on E bay for over $20 each. I sell a pair of them for $12 and whatever postage is required- In USA that would be $8.45 Priority box. Not some envelope for them to be crushed. Let me know if you want them and I can also give you some instructions on how to do the job. It is not the easiest thing to replace but these... Read more

Beginning is a bit long, but changes up about 1/2 way thru if you can hang with it . Used the kitchen sink for guitar...all thru the Quilter tb202 amp .Pedals : EHX Attack Decay, EHX mel9, EHX string 9, EHX Micro synth, Keely bubbletron, boss sy1, mxr phase 95, Wampler ratsbane, Wampler dual fusion, wamplergearbox,ehx canyon, boss waza delay. Bass guitar thru ehx battalion(with fuzz on!)

Here it is, I've slaved over it long enough. By the time I present a song here I'm kinda burnt out. I did all the parts, soup to nuts.

Is this an okay mike for recording myself? It looks to be the best option if I'm not treating a room. Also I really do want phantom power and this mic needs it, which is a cool bonus. Let me know if you have any experiences out there that might have an opinion on this mic choice.

Bought this one today on marketplace Wanted something to pair the synergy with that is better than my 8008 marshall valvestate. Not much to found online except it's a limited run ? Problem : Connected it to the torpedo x Connected input and output on master Amp powers up As soon i take channel right (master) out of standby it's end of story. I'll bring it to a technician on Wednesday ;( In the mean time, anyone more info on this amp ?
