Well, don’t I feel like a right knob-head? ? Alrighty then, I hope that I’m doing this the right way, this time… Long, long-time member, but even years ago, I mostly just read up on what the experienced sailors would write about their favorite libraries, reading material selections, great (& the odd not-so-great) librarians and their respective catalogues & interactions. I would make a point to post when I checked out a book or three from my favorite libraries & when they arrived, to keep other dedicated readers on the up-&-up on how quickly the respective branches were operating… but that tended to be the extent of my participation on making actual posts on the board for the better part of the decade or so that I would regularly read & visit here. But as in life, seasons change, & it’s that season for me, again. It’s good to know that there are some things that don’t change, & the existence of this space falls squarely into that positive category. I hope to become reacquainted with you fine folks again in short order, as I keep returning & making update “Hell “hello there” posts. Ideally, some day soon I hope to have something worth reading to share, at which point you’ll all be the first to know. Cheers for the opportunity to buff up on my expository writing skills… it’s surely been a couple decades since I’ve put them to any use. In the meantime, take care, all. ☮️, ♥️, & Gert.

After many years of struggling with Alcohol I have quite ! Two and half years sober now and feeling great .
