Hi when i select navigation icon from my control screen to start navigation, instead of showing maps and things it saying Navigation system starting and nothing happens as if system has restarted. i have a video of the issue that i want to attach which is in .Mp4 but i get a message saying "that uploded file does not have a allowed extension" so i have attached a picture Has anyone experienced this and how to trouble shoot this? is this any major issue? Please advise

Winter is coming here in vancouver, and my IX will arrive in Dec hopefully. now i am shopping for the winter tires and rims. i saw BMW has the 20" winter tire package, which comes with the 20" aerodynamic rims, and Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance 235/60 R20 108H XL, cost is CAD$4,611.50. i never had Goodyear tires, are they good in terms of comfort and quietness? or any other recommendation on 20" winter tires? Thanks.

For the past year I have been driving my 2024 iX M50 exclusively in B-mode. What I (and my wife) appreciate most is how this mode "tames" the 500 hp motor, that is, less jerky acceleration or braking. I love the performance descending hills/mountains and the smooth continuum between acceleration and braking. Since in D-mode the brake lights are activated by touching the brake pedal, and I can bring the car to a stop in B-mode without ever touching the brake pedal, I was wondering whether or... Hi, Has anyone ever experienced squeeking from beneath the car especially when (parallel) parking? My garage said the squeeking noise is louder than acceptable and is more often an EV ralated issue compared to combustion cars. The BMW dealer said it is normal and comes with the car. (never heard that before 😆) There are no damages to the brakes or suspension or other componants that are worn out. I have a 2022 BMW iX40 with 120.000 km. Thank you for your feedback! Even the best online photo of a vehicle's color tends to be off register, so a question: Aventurin Red - for those who have it, where does it fall on the red scale? Many photos seems to suggest a burgundy hue (which I would prefer); some seem fairly bright red. And how does it perform in sunlight/overcast/nighttime? Any help from owners would be much appreciated.

I was at a local BMW dealer today for my typical 5000 miles tire rotation today, among other things such as replacing the in-cabin filter. The dealer told me that BMW does not recommend tire rotation due to their superior AWD drive system. And, the in-cabin filter is not due until June 2027, two year after my purchase (purchased used last year for my 2024 ix50). Hi everyone, I’m looking for some insight regarding a highly frustrating issue with my 2023 BMW iX xDrive40 (iDrive 8). The Problem: While driving, the right side of the curved display (the infotainment section) completely crashes and goes black. The left side (driver/speedometer display) remains on and works perfectly fine. I noticed this happens almost exclusively when I have Android Auto running with active navigation (Waze or Google Maps). Hello I'm trying to get more info about features available and software bug fix to my iX2.

Hi please see attached picture, its passenger side front door and the black trim stated coming off which is wired. if you look closely the top corner is where its started coming off. has anyone experienced this ? how can i fix this before the whole trim comes off? can i glue it back, if so what kind of glue i should use? Please advise.

In the last couple of months I've found that the charging flap is occasionally failing to unlock when the rest of the car is unlocked. Sometimes all it takes is pressing the main unlock button on the driver's door to get it to unlock, but other times I need to lock the car fully and unlock it. Today, I needed to do this several times before the flap eventually unlocked. My feeling is that the issue is getting worse with time. I don't know whether this is a software fault or an... Hey All. I just replaced the tires on in iX with the same size as the ones it came with, 275/40 R22. However, when I go to set up the new tires, it doesn't even show the 22" option under settings. I feel a little uneasy with selecting "Special Authorization" when I am using the OEM tire size. Anyone else ran into this?

I know this topic is worn out, but a search didn't really address my issue. Just bought a used iX M60, 2024, appears to have 8.5 installed. I was able to get MyBMW to enable P&C for Shell after some flogging. But every attempt to enable EA fails with log-in failures. It offers me the 3 pathways, wanting me to enter the auth code that the original owner would have had. The option to transfer an existing EA account (which I have and use) ends with a log-in failure. Local dealer is useless... Plug-N-Charge issues
