If a bolt dropped into case when intake manifold was off, How do I go about finding it? I wanted to rotate crankshaft, because pulley was binding. It is a 2008 new Beetle A/T.

2010 2.5L Turbo automatic convertible ignition switch will not turn to full start; have to wiggle it to get it to turn; is that the switch cylinder or ignition switch or electric switch and do I have to remove the steering wheel and airbag; don't see why? Do I have to drill out the two screws that hold the switch cylinder body to column?

just wondering if anybody has any ideas on the problem I having with my instrument cluster I have no speedometer no attack oil light flashes, and no gas gauge computer was sent in and repaired. I’ve tried a second instrument cluster. It’s a 2000 beetle 2.0 automatic thank you in advance.

I have issues concerning the attachment of the two side corners of the headliner; it seems as if it should be attached by a feeble piece of elasticated cord that frays, together with some plastic fittings that seem to have a habit of breaking. It seems to be a common problem? Latest check at my VW garage looks as if two new kits are needed (one each side) at a cost of about £30 plus VAT. Can anyone advise about how these are fitted.please?. Regards, Mik

I recently bought a 2014 cash beetle (child hood dream car it recent shut down on me! "Two weeks later First the battery light came on, then the ABS light then more lights to the point it stop pulling! I replaced the alternator and battery and tested drove it after around 20 mins it did the exact thing again!

Hello everyone my wife has a 2013 convertible beetle. 2.5l and I keep getting these 2 codes I have replaced the upstream O2 sensor. Cleared the codes and they came back on. Then I replaced the MAP sensor cleared the code and they came back on again. Any idea what it is? Thanks

If im not mistaken 2.0 TDI PD engines either came with solenoid or piezo type injectors. Can anyone tell me which ones came with the BMM engine code, and how durable are they (are they as good as the BKD ones)?

I also posted this in a different forum but didn’t get any responses so I don’t know if maybe I posted in the wrong one? I’m currently trying to sell my 2002 new beetle, hoping that someone will restore it. It was my first car and I would hate to see her sold for scrap. My main question is, am I wasting my time trying to find someone who’s going to love the car as much as I have? The car has nothing major wrong with it, just a handful of little things that need to be replaced. The engine... Worth trying to sell as a project car
