Saw it, laughed, logged in to Octo. Because those guys (and the devs on Turtle) understand the spirit of classic. Didn't expect much from Blizzard's Classic+ and wasn't disappointed. By far!

I only can log into hardcore and PVP. Even if i want to go OctoWoW i dont think it will ever work for real. Octowow is torturing me literaly. F this.

Im also done not because of WoWfoever but because every single day i cant log in to PVE server, or i keep hours until i can. Even if i want Octowow i just cant play it!

Ok! Whatever! And will octowow work? I cant log in again on PVE server! Every single day its a torture. Why are u talking about wow forever when this does not WORK! Do we realy have the option to stay in Octowow?

Again...i can only enter PVP and hardcore servers... What a torture this is. Whats the objective? Force people to go WoW forever? Are u going to solve this ? When?

New to hunter so pardon the ignorance here, but something I don't understand for balance is why the 3rd slot is 250g? I noticed while leveling different pet families and specific rares are sought after, sometimes camped (I spent 3 hours for Broken Tooth recently). Is there a balance or design rationale I'm missing for why slot 3 and 4 are important limits? No reason, and the fact that the 4th slot requires IRL money is a mistake. Stable slots should only cost gold at reasonable prices a la bank tabs.

This is obviously just Retail wearing a Classic skinsuit. The tone of the cinematic is off, it has the same twee flavor to it that is the kiss of death for every other fantasy project. Yes I watched the whole thing, no I am not reacting to a ragebait screenshot from Twitter or Reddit. Something else that really strikes me about it is how flat and generic the sound direction is. Compare to the original Vanilla cinematic, which is iconic. Plus the AAA-slop photorealism over style. But whatever, the cinematic isn't everything. And I'm not just an unrepentant hater like a lot of people on here are. I saw Dalaran and thought that was cool, and I'm receptive to the idea of Classic+ and might have given it a try. But the reality that I think is sinking in for a lot of people now is that there can't ever BE a Classic+ because the guys who made the original WoW are gone, and Blizzard only knows how to make Retail. There are plenty of signs present in this project. The invention of yet another contrived, fuckass elf race is textbook Retail, as is sticking them onto the Horde so that there's a "non-ugly" race option for them. In general, everything about the Skyborne has a very Retail feel to it, both in how they are presented and how out-of-place they feel. Are you aware that there is a road map? Future content is being planned. In any case, take it easy friend. That roadmap is generated by claude bro. And by the time we even get to the later raids let alone new content World of Starcraft will almost be out assuming it makes it to the end of THIS year, which seems more and more unlikely. I've come to terms with the fact that TurtleWoW was lightning a bottle. Huge donation pool to draw from, full sized development team... you aren't going to get that in a pserver ever again. I feel like this server made some good fixes but mostly puzzling or unfun ones... gimping people's abilities to level quickly or farm mats on a server that probably won't make it to November was some real 5D chess. Hey at least Levia and the beta testers got to have fun right? Octo's a fun little time waster, but if you're grinding for R14 or gearing up for BWL... I've got a bridge in Redridge to sell you. Okay, it seems like the solution was found. I just saw it in the world chat and it works for me like a charm without vpn. You should add the following strings into your hosts file. On Windows it's located here: c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts , I'm sure Linux users know what to do.
