Top event at Leicestershire’s motor race venue. Very well organised and a great atmosphere. Despite coming last out of the water I managed to climb a few places with some overtaking on bike and run legs. Thoroughly enjoyable and a nice medal too

Interesting read that, as I’ve got older and joined a club; I’ve found I get injuries that I’ve never had before in my life ranging from an Adductor tear, and now hopefully just getting over ankle tendonitis; and getting over the injuries takes longer and longer. Calf strains always seemed to be my go to injury in the past, but touch wood not had one of those for ages.
