Rattle noise near passenger side

I have this rattle on the passenger side of my 07 limited . When im parked or idle it makes this rattle noise as soon as I move it goes away. My YouTube link vid

Intermittent Starting - usually on cold start

Just bought my 2009 Sienna XLE with 179K miles. It is giving me a random intermittent starting. I'd almost describe it as spazzing and then will always start up eventually. Usually only happens on cold start. If I shut it off and do it again it will fire back up. I had it taken to a shop to test the starter and they told me it was going out. They replaced it. Low and behold that wasn't the issue. I cleaned the terminals nice and good. I also took off the ground wire connection under the... Intermittent Starting - usually on cold start

Less expensive ABS sensor option

I am in the process of replacing a rear wheel bearing in my 2015 Sienna Limited AWD. I had bolted the bearing to the axle, and went to put the ABS sensor back in, and discovered to my horror that the sensor had fallen into the gap between the axle hanger and the brake shield and crunched the sensor. Local NAPA wants $304 for the sensor (which includes the brackets and cable/connectors). Amazon lists several alternatives for 1/10 the price. As a retired EE, I know that the sensor is a pretty... Door Check Strap Clicking

Hi all, Recently, my van developed a clicking noise on the driver's side when applying brakes and going over bumps. I ruled out any suspension issues and, after some investigation, was able to localize the noise. It is coming from underneath the door panel and specifically from the door check strap. I ran a few search queries on this forum and realized this is a common issue. There are two failures modes: 1) mounting panel (sheet metal) separates from the door; more common for 2004-2006... Clank From Front When Shifting Into Gear.

When first coming out and starting the car (foot on brake) and shifting into D there is a CLANK sound. It only happens once and then I can shift to reverse and back without anymore noise. But if I leave the car sitting for 30 minutes or so then come back and shift it to drive it clanks again. Have a big trip coming up and want to make sure this is safe to drive a long distance. You can see the sound while stationary here (note that I am on a incline facing downhill if that matters). Once it... Clank From Front When Shifting Into Gear.

A/C Compressor Failure & Repair on 2011 Sienna

2011 Toyota Sienna SE 3.5L V6 (2GR-FE), 110K miles with rear A/C controls Wife was idling the car at an appointment and the kids said that the a/c suddenly stopped blowing cold air. Once home, I put my gauges on it and low side said 55 psi (where it should be) and high side said 150 psi (low). Strange. I foolishly started adding some R134a and all it did was spike the low side to 100+ psi and it made the a/c clutch start squealing, seeming to overcharge it. I quickly shut the a/c off... Free parts. Just pay for shipping

As the title says, I have three Denso Iridium plugs and 3 Denso Ignition coils to anyone here who would like them. Just pay for shipping and I will send them your way. I parted ways with my much loved 04 Sienna CE after 240k miles. Probably the best vehicle I've ever owned. All parts are brand new and never been installed. Why the quantity of 3? It's a long story and it's for another day. Anyhow, happy wrenching to all and hit me up. The seal on the ignition coil was opened for the... Free parts. Just pay for shipping

Rear blend door actuator

The rear blend door actuator doesn't seem to be working on my 2012 Lim ited. Is there a fuse I should look for before replacing the actuator? I can get the actuator to move when I apply external power to the correct terminals, so the servo motor itself seems fine. Is this the correct part number and is my only option for this from the dealer? Can't seem to find aftermarket p/n 871060C130 Thanks

News on 2027 Sienna Hot off the Press from YTer Kirk Kreifels!

I've been following him for the past couple years, his track record is quite good, he is pretty tapped into what Toyota is doing. 1. 2027 Sienna will include Toyota's newest 6 Gen Powertrain, to be shared with the Lexus NX. This is newer than the Gen 5 currently in the RAV 4 and Camry. More refined, only about 5 more HP though, but smoother power delivery and quieter, new fuel injection system. 2. 2027 Sienna WILL include TSS 4.0 for those of you who like to not actually be in control of... Manufacturers Extended Warranty vs. Asurion (backed by Toyota)

Just purchased a brand new 2026 XLE. The dealer pushed hard to sell me an extended warranty from Asurion. I insisted on the Toyota Manufacturer extended warranty and the finance person was convinced that the Asurion warranty was the only warranty offered by Toyota and claimed several times that it was "backed by Toyota" and other manufacturers. After consulting with his manager, he came back and acknowledged he was unaware of the option for an actual extended warranty backed by Toyota... SRS light

Anyone else get a recurring SRS light resulting from the yellow plug under the front seats? I use to could unplug and replug them in and the problem would go away for an indeterminate amount of time. Lately that’s not solving it. I’m just wondering if anyone else has solved this issue. I’m considering cutting out the plug and hard wiring it, but I hate to do that if there’s a better solution.
