My Ekko near gross weight currently has the stock tires and wheels and Falcon 4.3 setup. However, I have really bad cupping on the tires. I am upgrading to the Van Compass Super Singles and I am trying to make sure the tires last as long as possible. So, I am wondering if I should go with the Adrenaline HQ or Mercedes camber bolts, or the Van Compass lockout washers?

Hi y'all. My Sprinter has been sitting in my garage for years. In 2024, it was in a flood. I drained all the fluids, including diesel and there was no water intrusion. I fired it up and it ran. The alternator was bad, so I took it and the turbo out. I also replaced all plastic fuses and relays effected by fresh water. And that's where I left it. So. With prices for these being so low these days, is it worth continuing to work on it just to sell it? The engine has 280k miles and ran fine... Read more
For those contemplating buying the AMP powersteps, Just saw this install video from Sprintek sprinterstore.com Says 22-24 models.
Title is kind of what I'm looking for help on. I've got these on my lifted F-150. They're great as my alignment does't get thrown off when I go off road. I've noticed when I take my van offroad and actually get after it, the alignment has been thrown off. This is what I have on my F-150, and I'm sure it's different for the vans, but it's the same principal. https://www.amazon.com/Alignment-Adjusting-2004-2023-Expedition-Adjustment/dp/B0CRDVQ72S# I called the Mercedes dealership... I have a 2022 4x4 with the V6 Diesel and had my Stock tune for 2k miles, a RENNtech tune for 7k miles, and now the Kerma TDI tune for 2k miles. All these, paired with a PedalControl. For those of you considering a tune, the Kerma tune, by far, is the winner for me. For a few reasons: The RENNtech tune seems pretty unsophisticated and while it certainly increases power and torque, I'm fairly certain it does that mainly by dumping more Os into your engine. For me, that led to a... Read more
So here's the deal work with a guy know him pretty well so I do believe what hes saying. He has a 2005 dodge sprinter that's been sitting. He says it was running fine when he parked it. Has 240000km on it. Rust isn't bad little on body frame is good it seems. I'm not bad and doing mechanical stuff but im no pro. Welling to get dirty lol. Can't turn it on obviously need to clean tank needs battery etc. I have scanned it with a thinkdiag scanner nothing crazy came up. Some communication stuff... Read more
Yet again I come asking for advice from this community that has helped myself and many others before me. Before I lay out what is going on, I want to thank you all again for the many helpful contributions over the years with troubleshooting these awesome vans with their basket of idiosyncrasies. 2003 OM612 Passenger SHC 140 with factory rear air and 155k miles on the clock. One previous owner, mostly interstate miles. I've owned the van for 2 years, putting 30k miles on it. I have... Read more
I've got an 08 MWB Sprinter, quite a bit of rust around the bottom of the sliding door and rear barn doors. Thinking to cut out and replace the panels. Keen not to try and replace the whole door as they have fitted windows and are lined already. Anyone have any experience sourcing from these guys? easyparts.online Or would recommend anywhere else to look?
Hi I wondered if anyone has tried to use a conventional oil seal instead of the normal Mercedes camshaft oil control thing. Reason is standard oil seals last well on several other parts of the engine, but Mercedes seal fails early in a location where there is more than enough oil for it to last longer. I need to do mine soon, but I will have to go the Mercedes route as I don’t know the diam of the camshaft, unless someone somewhere has tried this? Phil
Hi everyone, I'm in the middle of replacing the turbo on my 2008 Dodge Sprinter 3.0L (OM642), and I've hit a major roadblock. I have already: ✔ Removed the three bolts connecting the downpipe elbow to the turbo ✔ Removed the bracket bolt securing the downpipe ✔ Loosened the catalytic converter by removing the clamp near the catalytic converter and DPF inlet ✔ The catalytic converter moves freely, but the downpipe elbow will not budge at all Problem: The downpipe elbow seems...
