Is the argument here that once a person does ANY rides outdoors the FTP Prediction is not reliable because of your outdoor bug? I was told this only applies to workouts and it would be a strange argument to make that any outdoor riding makes it ok that the FTP Prediction gets reduces directly after a completed indoor workout So? This was planned in before, so the Ai was completely aware of it at the start of the month. And as I said: the point here was that the prediction got lowered several times after properly completed workouts indoors. The week I was away for business didn’t come into effect on this at all. Yes of course I change workouts. I adapt to my life and make sure that I move a workout from one day to another when needed, always checking for the impact on the Ai Prediction. Again I don’t think you are making a coherent argument here. I have not deleted any workouts or reduced them. And with every change I made sure that the Ai Prediction stayed the same or increased. A person makes a valid point, in this case: Even perfectly executed workouts can lead to an immediate reduction in Predicted FTP, even at the very end of the month. Found the answer asking to Rouvy AI bot: In ROUVY, turning ERG mode off works slightly differently than in TrainerRoad. ROUVY does not currently feature a manual resistance slider for workouts. When you switch ERG mode OFF during a workout: Your trainer automatically defaults to simulating a steady 1% slope . You adjust your resistance and power output manually by shifting gears on your bike and changing your cadence, rather than moving an in-app resistance slider. This is not nice because you are forced to a specific ring/cog combination depending on power and preferred cadence, and you might run out of gears. Rouvy suggests to use virtual gears as alternative.

Hello, I am trying the new integration TR/Rouvy to do my workouts inside the Rouvy app. I don’t like ERG mode so I usually disable it. Once disabled inside Rouvy I do not have the a slider or setting to change the trainer resistance. In TR I would change it in such a way that when I am big ring, middle cog I am about sweet spot intensity. Is resistance mode in Rouvy locked to a pre-set resistance?’

Weight wise, I just built up a Yeti ASR with 3-way Sid/Sidluxe using a Orbea Squidlock shock/dropper remote. It’s just under 10kg without pedals. True weight-weenies can certainly do better, but that’s good enough for my purposes. I used a Sram 90 mechanical RD so kinda busy with 4 cables & 2 hoses out front.

Yeah SRAM makes 3 different power meter spiders these days and they’re all completely interchangeable, same PM with different trim. (RED, Force, XX SL). I’m running the Force power meter on my mountain bike’s GX crankset with a MTB chainring, soley because it was what was available at a retailer I had a bunch of store credit to. I have a SRAM spindle power meter on my trail bike and have no real complaints with it, but I’m too anal to run left only power on my XC/Road bikes.

Bike Tires Direct has Looks in stock. I like them. You can also buy frame. One of the pros was on a look last year. I think it was Russell Finsterwald but might be mistaken. Allied Able isn’t a bad bike either.

TravisM: Factor’s never been on my radar, but i always assumed they were an Asian brand selling high end bikes at a discount. They are manufactured in Asia, however unlike most manufacturers, Factor owns and operates the plants that manufacture their frames. I wasn’t aware, but googled it as their newest bike is towards the top of my list at the moment.

Ari bikes will let you choose tires, stem length, bar width, and crank length all included in the price. Wheels are an optional upgrade and from the sound of it, if you call them you can basically do whatever build you want for a price I’d assume.
