Hi looking to replace blower vids on here all great unbolted glove box but hangs a few inchs.it feels like something attach to back right holding it ??? Any ideas ???.

So I've just realised that I can't hear the fuel pump priming when I unlock/open the driver's door like I know I have done before. Also it takes a second or two longer to start when cold. Is this a sign it's on it's way out or another issue (module?) Edit for clarification:- No faults on OBD relating to fuel issues

Hi Just had new tyres and tracking done on the TT but I noticed coming back from Surrey that there was a knocking at low speed from the passenger side. Garage said bring it in. I did notice the gear change was a bit notchy on the way down, but I do normally have to pull the clutch pedal up a bit from cold with my toes. They called back saying my slave cylinder has gone, and they think its BER Checked the fluid levels and they are all fine. If the slave has gone wont it piss into the... Confused on garages clutch diagnosis

Hi, contemplating going to 255/35/19 from 245/35/19 as many of us do. I've cleared it with the insurance so no problem there. I see that the 245's generally are 93 load rated where as the 255's are 96 .... does anyone feel the extra stiffness caused or reduced ride quality ? I have the 2.0 TFSI S-Line Quatto. TIA

Hi all, The spoiler on my TT is stuck down. When I press the manual deploy button, nothing happens. Then the warning light for the spoiler comes on on the dashboard. Any ideas how to proceed? Thanks all

While trying to use fixaflat on a tire I accidentally got a small amount on the convertible top. I tried soap and water with a soft nylon bristle brush. That didn't work. Is there anything I can safely use to get it off. Spot is about the size of my index finger. Goggle says use mineral spirts, but not sure if that will harm the top. Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks

First "modern" car so have no idea how long it should last... I was playing around in the dashboard when i got it for probably 15 mins and got a warning that the battery was running low. I was then cleaning the spoiler drains at the weekend for probably a similar time. When I came to start it it wouldn't start. Put a jumper pack on and it was fine. Is leaving the acc ignition on for 20 mins going to drain a good battery. I rarely drive for more than 10mins and have stop start disabled.

I need to sell my 'spare car' but I don't want to deal with whinging buyers? It shows more than 200k in the odo (it's realistically about 185k, because the speedo always shows +10% versus GPS) Is it safer to sell as spares / repairs? Or just clean it inside and out, and sell as normal? Do the normal photos, basic descriptions eg MOT last oil / filter service last timing belt change and any known faults. I obviously won't sell it here.. but it is a 2009 TDI Golf, I don't really care... Ebay selling advice to avoid tyre kickers and post sales complaints
