I started again Chronicles of riddick escape from butcher bay, the original from 2004 and not the remastered from 2009 bundled with assault on dark athena. I do not want any postprocessing effects or motion blur so I stick with the original graphics. This game is really tricky to get going, you need multiple patches and fixes.

Ok, now I'm confused. How a different keyboard controller can affect ISA bus speed? Swapped AMIKEY-2 in there so MR BIOS v.1.65 works now. Vgaspd-tool gives now 9,5Mb/s when before it was 6,7Mb/s. Tried even with original BIOS so KBC is the only thing that is different and still got 7,5Mb/s. This was new to me.
Hello, I've bought a Compaq Prolinea 4/66 with fixed, soldered CMOS battery. The computer was not remembering date, bios and such so I replaced the battery with a socket for coin battery. It's not working how it should be. It says "Time and Date not correct" after bios reset, then I can set time and date but it will not remember it correctly or at all. I can set year but then it will say its 1980 after turning off and on the PC once again. Every time its also detecting HDD again and saying do I want to save date. The voltage of battery is ok. Wow, 1 GHz slot A, those are rare and expensive... Nice find. Weird paring with TNT2 M64, try to find a Geforce DDR or a Geforce2 Ultra.
Tested a KVM, HDMI + mouse/keyboard. It's fantastic to do stuff on 2 PCs at a time without going for a second screen and m/k. Saves a lot of space and time. Also for a 2nd PC I don't need to have m/k always on my desk. This was a nice idea I got from ppl here!

You can try to rename the AMI file and give it a try.
This is my guide for getting iF-22 running with full HOTAS support, stick, throttle and rudder pedals, using a combination of GremlinEx (branch of Joystick Gremlin), the ViGem Bus Driver and Xidi. This is a supplemental guide covering the joystick/HOTAS setup so the original setup guide (linked in the below article should still be used): iF-22: Windows is alright for controllers and flight
Interestingly, the datasheet claims the CH376 should be a superset of the CH375. Have you found out why the CH376 is not able to work with the CH375 drivers, or are you trying to use some CH376 functionality? You may have noticed In the above tarball there is also a test program (test.exe), I was using it during the trial-and-error phase. as it is not a driver and does not require reboots it was easier to work with. It also prints lots of debug messages. invoke "test h" - call set_usb_mode, enables host mode then "test d" - calls disk_init , tries to get disk size then "test e" - call disk_read , tries to read sector 0 (so you can declare success if you see the 0x55AA signature of the MBR in the output 😀 ). Hopefully that one is usable even in 8086 , but otherwise you may have to rebuild it without the -3 in the makefile (this enables 386 instructions). Argh, I was hardcoding the ch375_port base in test.c to 0x260 , so you most likely need to rebuild indeed.
