Hi. I've a 2014 1.3CDTI Astra. Thought aircon needed refilling but realised when I turn it on, the compressor starts and high pressure pipe from compressor gets hot so gas level correct??? However, the radiator fan doesn't start. I don't have vauxhall diagnostics tool so can't check if there are any special astra codes. 4 connections to the radiator, 2 heavier than the others. One heavy connector connected directly to the chassis. I've put 12V on the other heavy connector and the fan runs at full speed. Don't know but I presume the fan comes on when radiator gets hot. Should the fan start with the compressor. If it should, what might be the problem. I see 3 fuses assigned to the radiator fan. Anyone know how each works or anyone got a wiring diagram. What are the 2 other wires on the radiator connector, maybe the radiator temperature sensor? Thanks in advance for any help John.

Hey all, I have an astra J with the CD 400 plus system that the USB port recently stopped recognising my USB stick. It happened after it sat at a garage for a while, so the battery probably died at one point. The port does still charge my phone if I plug it in. The aux cable works OK now, but was occasionally dropping out before causing faults on the radio module (in screenshot). The PDIM was showing a low voltage error occasionally, and the autel showed 11.3V on that module, with 12.7V at the radio module, but I have tried replacing the module with one from a breakers with no luck. Occasionally on first ignition switch on, pressing the aux will show "no supported data found" and the scanner shows the PDIM recognises it as a drive, but then won't play anything. It's the exact same issue with both mine and the breakers module, so unless I got unlucky and got a failed one, it's not that. Any ideas where to look next? Thanks

Hi, I'm a newbie on here, so apologies if I do anything I shouldn't. I have a 2011 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 SE petrol auto estate. At the end of last year, I had an after market DAB head unit fitted, (Kenwood DMX-7722DABS head unit, 152546045075 and 152767352231 looms, and a replacement fascia), All bought off the internet, from a company called Vibes Car Audio. I had it professionally installed, by a reputable, popular, and well known supplier/installer in Macclesfield. He encountered an issue early on in the procedure, he rang me to advise me that he was unable to reconnect the time/temperature display, so it worked. We discussed it and decided that on balance, I could probably live without it, so he completed the fitting, and everything else worked OK. The problem is, that I'm looking at this display more and more for some reason, and it's frustrating that there's nothing to see. So. I'm wondering if there is a mobile auto electrician/fitter that retrofits for this sort of problem, or whether an incorrect loom was supplied initially, and needs replacing. I have a vague recollection from a number of years ago, of one such chap, I think from the Wirral area, who would retrofit completely, from a CD400 head unit, to a CD500/600 DAB head unit, but I am unable to recall any more details, and indeed, he may not be around doing it now. I have attempted to attach an image of the display, how successful that is remains to be seen, the first time I tried it wiped out my complete post, and

Hello! Both of my daytime running lights (the 21W wire on the W21/5W bulbs) are completely dead, both in Auto on and Auto off mode. The sidelights (the 5W wire) work perfectly on both sides. In the trip computer, the car warns in two stages: "Right sidelight out of order" and "Right daytime running light out of order" (it only warns for the right side even though both daytime running lights are completely out). The original factory-fitted lights are still in the car. A mechanic has looked at them and confirmed that the bulbs are physically intact. I have also checked fuse 41 myself and switched place with the gray relays (6 and 8) in the engine compartment without result. Can anyone knowledgeable guide me in the right direction in further troubleshooting? Skickat från min 2412DPC0AG via Tapatalk
