I have had my 1990 Ocean 44 Super Sport for about 10 years and absolutely love the boat. However, I'm now considering making the switch to a single-level/open-style boat for many of the obvious reasons — easier access, less going up and down stairs, better connection between the cockpit/helm/salon, etc. For those of you who have made the switch from a flybridge/convertible to a single-level boat, I'd really like to hear about your experience. Who would have thought to see an 80-meter coming from ISA. However, there is a very custom 80-meter currently under construction at their Palumbo facilities. It is known as Belita and is expected to be delivered to her owner in 2026. Being built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure the yacht will boast an internal volume in the region of 2,150 GT and become the yard's flagship. One of the latest builds at this yard is the 65-meter "Aquarius II". Perhaps it is being built for the owner of the 2018-built sailing yacht "Aquarius". The aluminium and superstructures are expected to start build in earnest this summer. We do not know the timeline for this vessel. The first unit of the new Azimut Grande 44 model has been launched. This first unit of the model is expected to make its world debut at the 2026 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival in September. Looks like now The Bahamas government is aiming its revenue machine gun at aviation… they are trying to charge a $775 per flight using Bahamian airspace, regardless of aircraft size and passenger numbers. this means that the cost for guests flying to family islands will skyrocket. The first 24-meter Nautor Swan 80 Maxi has been launched to the water. She is a 23.99-meter vessel called "Elvi" and is an evolution of the successful Swan 78 platform. Micheletti + Partners are responsible for the exterior design while German Frers are the Naval Architects. Onboard there is a four cabin layout comprising of two aft cabins, a fore VIP and a fore Master suite.

ISA Yachts has launched the "Sea Raider X" the latest yacht from the yard plus the first Gran Turismo 67. So far, this is now the flagship of the yard... at 67-meters and a internal volume in the region of 1,200 GT. She is taking barely over from the 66-meter "Okto" which has an internal volume of around 1,149 GT. Another project that Turquoise is working on is the 87-meter Project Vento. It has exterior and interior by H2 Yacht Design. The yacht is now well underway to outfitting after having been transferred from Turquoise Kocaeli facility in Turkey to the Pendik shipyard. At present this is the largest build from Turquoise Yachts and will be their flagship once launched in 2024.
