Quick first look review of the Silverback VKS. In depth review coming later on my blog. Took it out the field for the first time, and other than the obviously different handling the performance is comperable to the SRS platform, as expected by the internal similarities. While it feels weird first to even aim with it, the loading of the bolt is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter. Not just due to it's beeing straight pull and further forward, but the new way the cylinder is supported and how it travels... VKS first look review

My new toy the Wolverine mtw 308 xb. A long time i wanted a real dmr not a converted m4. Wy because some field in the netherlands have a minimum Total lenght withoud supressor. For a time i played with the idea to convert a normal sr25 aeg to hpa. Butt the price for 308 xb at skirmshop.nl whas a good one so that whas wat i bought. I kept it reasonable stock the only upgrades i did are. A Pdi 6.08 407mm barrel And a 4uantum friction pro bucking I also aded some external parts some bought... Wolverine MTW 308 xb.

As i have not heard any or little about these pistons, i thought i could share my thoughts. I have a ssg10 with perseus chamber, sm piston head rapax 3+, flamingo bucking. I have tested the piston with the stock piston head aswell and all weights etc. I have concluled that its just straight trash. Bolt pull is harder than with stock, air seal trash, joules are over the place, "silent" as some say, nothing is different from the stock piston, expect the spring twang.
