Thinking of getting a pair of Betta Mahachaiensis

As the title mentions, I am thinking of getting a betta mehachaiensis, a pair specifically, my water pH is 7.4, and my tank dimensions are 60cmx32cmx40cm with the water brought down to the 30cm mark. Is there any advice y'all can give me regarding keeping pairs of wild bettas, imbellis, mahachaiensis and the like? The HOB filter that came with the tank has the hole covered by mesh and the water is baffled to a trickle so water flow is absolutely minimal. The tank is still cycling and the... Osmotic shock/salt burn

Hi everyone first time posting here. At the end of May I was treating my boy Zuni for little scrape I think that he had gotten and I was using a low concentration of salt. And I didn't use it all and I left the cup underneath his tank and I let it sit there for a day or two and then I just decided I would put the rest in well it was concentrated (an honest mistake)and it burnt him- threw him across the tank and he was laying on his side and immediately got him into a bucket of dechlorinated... Bun the Betta lover

I’m Bun. I grew up in Rabat, where the pet stalls sold goldfish in glass jars and nobody thought twice about it. My first betta died six weeks after I bought him. He came with a one-gallon kit and a shop assistant who told me bettas prefer small spaces. What killed him was ammonia poisoning, then fin rot. Everything I had been told was wrong.

Scales Up Close!

This is my female hellboy HMPK "Calamity Jane". She's grown more than a centimeter in length in the four months I've owned her...! When I got her, she was more of a pink base hellboy, then she went through a phase of black, and now she's turning bright red! The pictures are attached; 2 from today, 1 from May for comparison.
