How did you choose your cat's name? Does it have a special meaning, did it just perfectly fit their personality?

Hi everyone, This may sound a little silly but I’m sad! My cat currently around 1 years old stopped sleeping on my lap entirely since mid-late April while before she would lay on my lap all day if she could. She also used to snuggle in my arm from time to time but mostly lap. And snuggle in by my chest in the morning. The only thing is she still follows me a lot and wants a lot of belly rubs and pettings. I’m sad over it and I’m hoping this is just a phase and not her “new” personality... Cat stopped being cuddly

I’ve always considered my cat a pet, but over time I started noticing how much of a difference she made when I was stressed or having a difficult day. Just having her sit beside me or hearing her purr could make things feel a little easier. That’s what eventually made me learn more about emotional support animals.
