I’ve had my cat for a while, and after realizing how much comfort and emotional support I get from having her around, I decided to look into having her recognized as an emotional support animal. I went through an ESA evaluation with My ESA Therapist, where I discussed my situation with a licensed mental health professional. It helped me understand that an ESA letter isn’t simply a certificate for a pet, but documentation connected to an actual evaluation. The housing part was what I was... Having my cat as an ESA has been a positive experience

How did you choose your cat's name? Does it have a special meaning, did it just perfectly fit their personality?
I have been seriously considering getting backyard chickens, and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these birds. If so, what did your other pets think about them?
Hi everyone, This may sound a little silly but I’m sad! My cat currently around 1 years old stopped sleeping on my lap entirely since mid-late April while before she would lay on my lap all day if she could. She also used to snuggle in my arm from time to time but mostly lap. And snuggle in by my chest in the morning. The only thing is she still follows me a lot and wants a lot of belly rubs and pettings. I’m sad over it and I’m hoping this is just a phase and not her “new” personality... Cat stopped being cuddly

For those of you who started with a single cat, what was the turning point that made you decide it was finally time to add a second one?

Had plenty of cats over the years. Recently adopted two cats from a neighbour and never before have I seen this We leave plenty of water for them, so what's this about 😮

I’ve always considered my cat a pet, but over time I started noticing how much of a difference she made when I was stressed or having a difficult day. Just having her sit beside me or hearing her purr could make things feel a little easier. That’s what eventually made me learn more about emotional support animals. I had a lot of confusion about what actually qualifies a cat as an ESA and what the process involves. While researching it, I read through some information from My ESA Therapist... My cat has helped me more than I ever expected
