I have a newbie question for those with experience towing off-road. Which of these options would be more capable and easier to drive off-road overall: (1) A Supertramp LT on an F350 Tremor or similar, or (2) an off-road, pop-up trailer the same length as the LT, towed by an off-road-focused midsize like a Ranger Tremor. The F350/LT would be wider and have a longer wheelbase, but the Ranger would be towing, so I'm honestly not sure. Assume the trailer has adequate suspension, durability, etc... Read more

Got the new Mohab Altus XL roof top dwelling installed. I believe I am one of the first to get one of these. The footings fit basically perfectly to the top structure rails of my Cybertruck Urander bed cap. Super easy install bolting it down. I'll just post random initial thoughts in no particular order: 1. Selling our much loved and well cared for Bigfoot. This rig has ≈67,000 miles on it… so roughly 3000/year. We had Ujoint Off-road upgrades done in 2017 and have put a little under 40,000 miles on it since. Amongst the many upgrades are Aluminess Bumper, 12k Warn winch, LED lighting, 6 inch lift, 4WD conversion, OBA and of course a train horn! This van has been an awesome "get up and go" setup for weekend trips and longer adventures.
