Hello from central NY

I've always been a Ford guy, and recently acquired a 1986 Bronco from a close friend. Its got a leveling kit and a few other mods, all from back in the early 90s. Riding on 34" swampers. The tonneau cover is custome and has been on the truck for 30 years. It works flawlessly!

96/351w - bare minimum engine rebuild

i bought my bronco just over 10 years and 70k+ miles ago. as far as the engine goes, i pulled it after a few years and resealed every gasket on it. a few years ago, i added gt40 heads, an edelbrock intake, and bbk headers. recently i added a bbk throttle body. finally, i am ready to rebuild the engine at about 297k miles on the odometer and original rotating assembly. and i want to note: it was running when parked. sure, down a bit on power and compression, and showing signs of a bit... 96/351w - bare minimum engine rebuild

240 miles to get out in the White Sands Missile Range. Bronco did great taking all them big mountains. Took that first pic of the truck soon as we arrived. Now it’s starting to look like rain.

What did you do to your bronco today?

Lets get a sticky!!! It's easy, tell us anything you've done to your Bronco today. It could be as simple as staring at it, or as complicated as finishing a SAS, doesn't matter I washed mine today, and tried to fix my loose passenger side mirror

Third brake light socket

I recently attempted to replace the bulb in my third brake light. I found a burnt bulb with a burnt socket. I wanted to stick with incandescent bulbs so I looked for a pigtail for my the burned socket. Dorman 85868 is a Chevy socket that fits in the 94-96 bronco third brake light. I hope this helps someone. Amazon has them for about $8

Mini Trash Panda

I'm gonna move my build thread to the appropriate location rather than stacking up the introduction forum. On the other post, I really just mentioned things that it took to get the bronco mobile again. I have no idea how long it sat, but I threw in a new fuel pump and tank, and rebuilt two brake lines. I knocked off the drum brakes and inspected them because one was seized. Since that point, I have about 100 miles of drive time on [ATTACH... Mini Trash Panda

Sale

Any other places to list a Bronco for sale? Just found out I do not have enough Posts on this forum to do it here. I have it currently listed on FB and my BIL's car site. He sells overland vehicles.

RonB - Newto site. Hello!

New guy to the site - 1995 EB Hello all, SE Michigan guy here. Just picked up a 95 EB, with a 351W. I had a 90, and sold it years ago, and have missed owning a Bronco. I have pics, but won't be uploading yet. Hopefully I can add value to the forums. Not an expert, but knowledgeable in many things automotive, from wrenching, design, and development. I'm looking forward to meeting you all. Ron
