Toilet bowl water level

How's can you adjust the level of water in the toilet bowl? Have a toilet that uses a ball style flapper. It does seem to seal well and I noticed that it sets in water so it really cannot form a vacuum seal! How can I lower the water level in the bowl so it may seal better

American Standard Flush Valve Screaming

I have a A.S. flush valve on a new urinal install and cannot get the chatter to stop as the piston shuts off. I've adjusted the control stop from fully closed to fully open in 1/4 turn increments and no luck. Pressure is around 50-60psi. I've also tried another new piston and still no change. What am I missing?

Can brass fitting connecting Uponor PEX to brass elbow be unscrewed from brass elbow and not cause PEX to brass connector to leak?

I have a VIQUA UV bacteria filter connected to my plumbing in my utility room. My piping is Uponor PEX. The VIQUA filter has a male NPT inlet port at the bottom on one side of the filter cylinder where the supply enters and and a male NPT exit port at the top on the other side where the water flow exits. There is a brass street elbow connected to each port. Then there is a Female NPT to PEX Barb Adapter that connects the Uponor PEX pipe to each elbow. The elbow-to-inlet-port threaded... Read more

Vent Pipe Move Help Needed

Hello, I'm remodeling my bathroom and after removing a wall that was dividing the shower (on the left) and the Bathtub (on the right), I found a vent pipe that I need to move. I'm from the UK originally and still learning a lot about the way homes are built in the USA and really need some help and advice please. In the picture here you can see the current waste pipe layout in yellow, and the current vent pipe that was in the dividing wall. The green arrows show the water flow from the... Read more

Pressure reducing valve

Hi, I recently replaced the bell and inner workings of my PRV valve. Works great and fixed the problem however there are very slow leaks at the bell and pressure screw. My old one leaked in the same spots so im assuming the metal where the O rings sit is probably damaged or not sitting right. I am going to try and replace the whole valve. I know the bottom is a union so no issue there. The top appears to be a transition piece. Can I just unscrew the PRV valve from the transition... Read more
