I've got all new mounts on the way because mine have just gone bad. My engine with cams puts out more power, like having a v6 almost. Should I reinforce them with a little extra polyurethane? or is the extra bump in power really no big deal and it's just an age thing?

Hello, good evening. I’d like to know if you are having the same problem with your cars. I have a 2025 hybrid XLE RAV4, and ever since it hit the 10,000-mile mark, I’ve noticed that while driving, I can hear the sound of the wind and outside air. It’s uncomfortable when I drive long distances; could you tell me if your cars have the same problem and what the solution might be?
Hi, I'm Jhordan. I don't write English, but I'm learning. I bought this nice car last year; it’s the fourth car I’ve owned, and I find it fantastic for my daily projects and goals.
Let's see photos of your RAV4 with scenic backgrounds. Photos of just a RAV4s are fine, but much better if you have something in the background that helps show it off. REVISED > Let's see yours! Post as many pics as you want. These are with Mt Rainier on the outer SE edge of Puyallup.
I opened my garage this morning and found a crack in my windshield. A quick google said this is a known issue. Anyone else experiencing this and had success getting the dealer to replace it under warranty?
Hello all, I have a 2015 Toyota RAV4, LE AWD 120k miles. Symptoms: At idle it hiccups around 733 to 900rpm. During acceleration, it surges and hesitates. It especially loses power when trying to accelerate going uphill. On my dashboard, the check engine light flashes on and off until acceleration stabilizes and then latches on in a steady light. My New Autel Scanner only sees a misfire code on cylinder 1. code: PO340 I have erased that code and reset power from the battery on the ECM... hiccups at idle, surges, hesitates, lurches, loss of power going uphill- 2015 toyota Rav4, LE AWD - Resolved
I purchased a 1998 RAV4 from an older couple. bad clutch. Installed new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing. Put back together . clutch doesn't want to disengage. thought that maybe the( pedal throw )was adjusted for the older couples dying clutch. I've tried bleeding it, adjusting the pedal height and throw. Still same thing clutch does not want to disengage. Thinking that maybe I put the disk in backwards. Tore it back down disc is in correct thought maybe they gave me the wrong... 1998 RAV4
Hey guys! Just picked up a 2026 RAV4 and figured I’d join the group. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s rides and picking up some tips along the way. Excited to be here!
I just purchased a RAV4 Limited. I love the car, but as soon as I attempted to install a new toll road transponder (NC QuickPass) I was warned not to use it inside the car because the rain-sensing windshield would stop it from working properly. So, I decided to ask about this on the RAV4World Forum.
I'm frequently going off road with my 2001 RAV4. It's lifted 40mm, has a ST205 torsen in the rear diff... and the tires are BF all terrain K02 (LT225/75/16). My friends, who are ''true 4x4'' guys, are often surprised how my trucklet is capable of. The main difference with their vehicule, is the lack of low range on the RAV4. Even if I take my time, I'm going everywhere so rapidly compared to them... always waiting for them! But in long and very inclined hills, the power to the wheels is... Week-end Off-Road Warrior
My drive shaft U joint is rumbling and squeeking. Toyota recommended replaceing the whole drive shaft but quoted huge amount $1300 CAD. I called a drive shaft specialist and they could repair my drive shaft for like $400 CAD or sell me a new one for like $600 CAD. I was thinking I may just get a new one and put it in myself. Im wondering how hard it is to take it off. I watched a video and seemed pretty easy, but with the rust of Canadian winters I'm worried it will be harder than it looks... Removal and replace of drive shaft in 2015 Toyota Rav4. Anyone do it themselves and was it hard?
Hi ! My wife have a 2019 Rav4 LE with the common problem of the Coolant bypass. The car have like 65k miles and this is the 3rd time with the problem. First time we go to the dealer and the estimates were something like $500. I call a local Toyota parts and they sell the part for $105. I get one from Amazon for $25 and make the repair myself. Everything works good for about 2 years and the same problem came back. I did the same thing again and after 3 years (now) I get problems with the... Electronic coolant bypass remedy
