I've created this thread to gather opinions on wording or phrasing related to ME/CFS. Examples discussed elsewhere on the forum: energy vs capacity in relation to PEM and sickness behaviour . I also read a post recently that said something along the lines of: calling people with MECFS "patients" felt iffy because it implies they are receiving care or treatment, but I forgot the thread.
The Pfizer press release reports that protection is achieved 28 days after initiation of the first dose of vaccine. Whereas you can develop covid within a few days of exposure, so the virus wins that race. The case split between vaccinated individuals and those who received the placebo indicates a vaccine efficacy rate above 90%, at 7 days after the second dose. Hey! I'm interested in hearing your experiences with "tired but wired". I'm wondering if everybody is talking about the same (or similar) experience. How does it feel to you? When does it happen? Is there anything you can do/take to help in your situation? Do we know the pathophysiology behind this symptom?
