Hi everyone. Here’s my dilemma I’m a gunsmith, rifle builder I have a client, brought in a factory 223-6 mm. Wants me to rebarrel it to 223 gun is beautiful, Ebony fore end cap Metal pistol grip cap. Shadow line cheek piece. I’d rate gun at 85-90 percent I have to do what client wants. I just don’t want to destroy value What’s your thoughts?

Gosh, would anyone hazard a guess as to how much a 375 Bofors marked Deluxe might bring at auction? Are they rare? I'm not sure because that's a term that causes discussion around here. But I'll say this, I've seen less than 5 actively looking for one since about 1980. Even a more common pre 72 Deluxe in 375 that is not marked Bofors are seldom seen. I'll close by saying the Bofors marked Deluxe 375 is hard to find.......but the really really hard one to find is a 375 Deluxe pre1968 with a... Read more

I recently inherited a L461 .223 but it’s in pretty rough shape. I found a gunsmith who can salvage it, but I need a replacement bolt. I’m not even sure where to start looking. This is most likely going to turn into a long term project.

Hi And greetings from Sakoland I own couple of L579 at .308. Hope to get good conversations with you all. PS. I own also one Target from 1985 with stainless barrel in excellent shape, if interested I am second owner of it. Arrow28

Howdy! Joined this group because I had a few questions, and I feel like y’all are the right ones to give me an answer. I just bought a TIKKA t3x hunter with iron sights, and would like to get them removed. Would it mess up the ballistics of the barrel? Would it leave any unaesthetic trace on the barrel? Thank you all.
