Don't get me wrong, the Twede's/ RR Diner one is hip in its own Twin Peaks righrt. However, the Jorge Curioso one from The Retro Emporium is perfection.

The trem arm on my 1979 Anniversary strat got stuck. Probably cross threaded... Anyway I cannot get it out and I don't want to snap it inside. The threads are already probably ruined so I try to get them so stripped by wiggling the arm back and forth to the point of being able to yank the arm out. I'm not a trem user so will just leave the block stripped. I just put the arm on for a photoshoot. Do you guys have any ideas? Martin

First thing to know is what is relief and why do you want some. The highest amplitude of string vibration is in the middle of the fretted note to the bridge, that will always be from the 12the fret on up. Desired... Read more

Just picked up this 2004 MIM Strat in Gun metal blue today, Had a big chip and a busted volume pot so it was cheap, (less than half of all other MIMs available locally.) Got it home and took it apart, Pulled out the heatgun and started with stripping. After about 45 minutes it looks like this: Im having a hard time deciding on a color though, its going to have white plastics instead of black. Thats a given. Contenders so far are... Read more
