I've been figuring out how to completely get rid of the squeaky/ cracking noises coming from my B-pillars and/ or doors. I've been reading about people having the same issue, and I've already disassembled the inner panels, covered the metal connectors with some tape and a bit of grease on the contactpoints. That made things a lot better, but still, under warm/dry weather conditions, I can hear a form of light squeaking noises coming each side. But only when I brake/ accelerate, or by going... V60 '25 B-pillar/ door noise

I recently bought a 2007 S80 V8 with 200,000 miles for $2000. The car is in really great shape inside and out,new battery new tires,super clean. Car needs valve covers done, new altenator, serpentine belt, timing belt cover. I got ballpark estimate of $4-5,000 at Re-VOLVO In Oxford Ma. My question is will this engine if maintained properly after all this work potentially last another 100-150,000 miles. there may be one or two little things I forgot....some kind of guides? I obviously dont do... Worth It? 2007 S80 V8

I will start by stating a lot of the performance work was done by the previous owner. It made for a great road going sleeper but on the track it's handling foibles came to the fore. It came with do88 intake including large intercooler, larger piping and air cleaner. Exhaust has 3.5ins down pipe and a very small cat exiting to a mixture of single 3ins pipes and twin 2.5 pipes all tme brand exiting thru twin 2.5 mufflers. I have increased boost to 18 psi. I... V70 t6 track day car.

Hey guys. I am a first-time poster but long-time forum reader. I do all of my own services after my warranty expired on my 2019 XC60. I recently did the diff oil, Haldex and transmission flush (double drain and fill) service. I used FCEuro kits and instructions. I have a semi-pro level garage and have rebuilt cars, so I am careful and meticulous. After my service, my transmission is noticeably slipping under moderate or above throttle. I need to drill/install the front plate holder that comes with the EX90. I think it's the same as the XC90. Is there any guides on how to do it with the two large bolts with 8mm heads plus two barrel/expanding nuts?

2004 V70 R 115K miles As above basically, this is the only time it smokes, but it will hide a battleship. There is no noticeable smoke ( from drivers seat) at ANY other time. It has gradually been getting worse and worse over the last 6 months or so, and now needs to be resolved. The 4 possible causes I'd suggest to others would be.. 1) Worn Valve Seals - But do Volvo generally suffer from this? Can't say I've read many issues of this. AND I do not have Blue smoke after an overnight stop... Lots of blue smoke when opening throttle after the over run.

Hello all, This is my last hope to see if I can get some insight on my R before partout. So to recap, a while back the car had an issue with the battery dying after sitting for 2 days between work weeks. I would jump it, get in, and it would act perfectly fine for that entire week until my next 2 days off (for the record, it is a brand new even larger than oem battery). I got a 1999 v70 AWD with 2.4 5 cyl turbo that I just bought. for the life of me I can't find any new fuel pumps other than a sending unit with wrong connectors that I don't want to buy for 170$ for a piece of junk Any other years I can cross reference to get a pump for this? Thank you.
