I've started looking into Citizen 67-9020 bullheads as I want to buy one. What are things to look out for ? There seems to be a lot of fakes and it's very hard to know where to even start when 95% of them are franken watches. I know a couple of things, such as looking for bottom-of-case triangles , brushed cases, etc but the market seems very overwhelming compared to a 67-9011, which seems to be much more original for most of them.

I recently got a seiko SLR001, model number 8F35-0019. But like almost every other owner, it comes without the "fragile" protector. After reading these two interesting posts here, SLR Shroud Replacement Project - 8f35 I now have two SLR001 8f35 divers (8f35 diver post to come). They (should) feature a one-part partial shroud made from a black rubbery plasticy material that allowed it to be flexed around the lugs before being retained by a set of screws (watch and shroud images poached from web). Seiko 6306-7001 from 1977. In decent shape for its age. 3+ finger rolls to screw in crown. Keeps decent time. Service history unknown. Comes on Uncle seiko band as shown. Water resistance not tested. Please feel free to ask any questions.

. It figures that the order you place last arrives first, right? 🤣 Some straps, silicone and leather. It is the upper "Chestnut" colored leather strap I was focused on. My wife really likes my Alpinist SPB121. She however does not care for the date magnifier. I’ve begun shopping for an Alpinist for her, which I am very excited to be doing. I’m looking on eBay at some SARB017’s that are out for bid and some of the newest versions, the SBDC211’s(?) that are being sold for just short of 1k. I would love any advice you guys have on the older SARB versions. And if I purchase one of the newer ones, how hard is it to remove the cyclops? Also, anyone on here have... Can someone point in the right direction about the above watch. It has a gold face and it is marked Japan after the ref #. It's old maybe 1970s or early 80's. I think it takes a battery so not running. Thanks need to move it.
