Hey folks, theivyguy here with my 2013 Triumph Thunderbird Storm!

Hi All, I have a 2013 Triumph Thunderbird Storm, I inherited it from my late father in law when he passed and have no idea about it's maintenance history as he lived in rural NSW and I live in Sydney so only visited on long weekends. Anyway I don't ride it too often but usually leave it hooked up to a trickle charger when not in use but recently I had to move it to get some stuff out of my garage and forgot to put it back on the trickle charger. It was off charge and not ridden for about 3... Hey folks, theivyguy here with my 2013 Triumph Thunderbird Storm!

speedometer bonneville SE 2009

The speedometer needle on my bike has snapped off. What can I do? Should I glue it back on with Super Glue, replace the entire speedometer, or maybe install an aftermarket one? If I go the aftermarket route, what do you recommend? It's a 2009 Triumph Bonneville SE.

How much do you try to avoid riding in the rain?

I dislike riding in the rain. I bought a rain suit but usually don't have it with me because if I think it is likely to rain I just don't ride. I've been caught by the rain about 6 times riding and I'm not a fan. ETA: @bweighmaster this is not a argue starter thread.

Lots more popping on deceleration AFTER installing TTP tune. Normal?

Have just installed TTP tune 4 on my scrambler after doing the requisite mods (o2 sensor removal, 2-1 exhaust, baffle out, DNA filter and TTP breathe cover) the snatchiness is totally gone which is amazing, and there’s more power everywhere however im surprised to find there’s actually far more popping and crackling on deceleration now. I was under the impression the tune would eliminate that. Will it improve over time? I haven’t yet done the AIS removal, so assuming that could help. But... I Just Test Road A 2021 Zero SR/S Premium Electric Motorcycle, I Will Never B The Same!...pics

after watching many videos and reviews I finally went back to the Tri dealership early this morning to test ride the Zero SR/S Premium electric motorcycle. I am going to babble on because my mind is still reeling from my experience today in a very good way With so many thoughts of the Zero. It was only 10 am so it was pretty quiet and was able to get a sales rep I talk to many times Told him I was really interested in test riding the Zero, my one main question to him was if I am going to... 5Ta Inlet Valve Spring location?

Does the spring- 70-2256 sit inside the outer valve disc 70-2254 ? OR between the disc and the "valve" 70-5316? Is there somewhere that provides accurate dimensions of the spring as I've bought 2 and yhyre different sizes 🤔 PLUS should the rotary disc valve 70-2254 rotate or where should the vents located upon installation? Thanks a lot 👍

bonneville throttle cable problem

A while back I removed the carbs from my 02 bonneville. Was pretty straightforward. Now I'm trying to get them back together and my throttle cable isn't returning. I'm almost certain i haven't mixed up the cables. The spring works just fine. I'm at a loss! The problem seems to be in the return cable.

September 2026 Monthly Mileage Challenge

The September Monthly Mileage Challenge is now open. Weather is turning cooler for most, let's see if that equals higher miles. What to join, simple, post a picture of your odometer at the beginning of the month and one at the end. Ending mileage will be due no later than midnight of the last day on month. If you own more than one bike then total miles on all count (only your miles count, not other rider miles), just have to submit beginning and ending readings for all bikes. We will do this...
