That’s a pretty sweet find, especially being the second owner with only 70k on it. The interior looks like it’s held up really well too. Funny how that kind of thing matters more than flashy extras sometimes, same with online stuff. On a casino like https://tropical-casino.com/ Tropical Casino, a clean slot layout, a decent bonus screen or a small win animation can make the whole thing feel better without doing too much. Welcome to the forum, curious to see what you end up doing with it and whether you keep it mostly stock or start changing things.

New to this place. Hello.

Nice to see another Z34 being kept alive. If you’re new to working on cars, I’d focus on getting a solid maintenance baseline before changing anything: fluids, belts, hoses, grounds, and any old or brittle wiring/connectors. Since you’re already into the brakes, I’d check the rubber hoses and hard lines closely too. And if you don’t know when the timing belt was last done on the 3.4 DOHC, that’s definitely something I’d put on the list. Take plenty of photos before unplugging things and tackle one issue at a time. Makes troubleshooting a lot less painful.

Need some clarification please

I mean assuming the intakes are off a compatible w car you could gain maybe a tiny bit from the larger later intakes, I think a 2000 would still have the old 3100 manifolds. but its not enough of a gain that i'd waste my time. Go get the rest of the 3400 and you are looking at some gains, but i'd still be questioning of the journey is worth the destination.

Need some clarification please

Well, in a nutshell, yes...... one will not get out of an LG8 quite what the LA1 delivers. The old saying *there ain't no replacement for cubic inch displacement* still rings true. But from a totally *biased* point of view.........why go to the effort where a mom & pop sedan is concerned? Just keep it running respectably in its present format. If the car off the assembly line was a intended sports sedan with an optional handling package & an optional higher hp powertrain I can see working with that.

Need some clarification please

So basically what you are telling me is the whole top end swap thing is a waste of time I appreciate you telling me there is no need to swap it all of it's all the same

Summer Ending Cutty meet up?

I recognize that group, go back at least 16 years, they used to be geared more towards the G2 cars & showed little interest in the G1 cars. Some of them were local here in Pickering & Ajax. I fell out of touch with them about 14 years ago.
