Opinions on 16 Automatic refresh

Probably going to do some refreshing on this '73 that I picked up from @davidtmercer - Paint the rims, maybe some front tires, and a little paint work. The Chassis is a 16 Automatic, but at some point the engine was replaced with a 14 HP. It has turned out to be an excellent running engine! Question: Would you swap out the tower decals to "14 Automatic"? -or- Would you leave them alone?

Broken governor shaft

I'm helping a friend with a Subaru Robin 9hp EX27 engine that was his wood splitter. He's funny , last year he had told me that he was giving up on using wood and was going to get his heat from a hose, but with the current oil prices he's having to rethink this! He said suddenly the engine was racing so we investigated and found its governor shaft was broken off and there was slight damage to the governor gear as well. I've tried to find a new shaft and haven't been able to find one, I had no idea finding parts for these Subaru engines would be so hard! I did see a gear on eBay. I don't know much about these Subaru engines and it looks like a mostly well designed engine, I see that it has roller bearings on both ends of the crank. Does anyone know if this is a known issue? Any ideas if there's a source for parts or used parts? C-85

Seeking engine code for my 520Lxi

Good morning Red Square... ers... I have a cooling issue that I believe can be resolved with a thermostat replacement. And the Toro shop I'm in touch with wants an engine code to confirm part fitment. I believe my '98 520LXi came with a Kawasaki FD620D v-twin... but beyond that, I have no info. Apparently that's not enough to confirm the thermostat compatibility. I've looked around for a foil nameplate, but have come up empty. The tractor model # is 73545, serial # 8901382. Any ideas? Thanks.

Would anyone have a patinaed Wheel-a-Matic dash plate for an 875,1075 or other Wheel-a-Matic models? Also, would anyone have a patinaed fan screen cover?
