Here's my XD 40 Subcompact "ultimate build" 😂. I was forced to purchase this pistol as it was part of a package deal that included a CZ Rami that I really really wanted. I was gonna try and sell it to two local shops but what they offered me was a joke decided to keep it. I already owned 3 XD Subcompacts when I got this 1 but again I had to buy it. Alright anybody here with a Subcompact 40 knows the recoil can be sharp. I have no problem admitting that I... My XD 40 Subcompact ultimate and final build (8-27-26 Update)

Every time I think about buying another full size 9mm I can't justify it because Im so pleased with my XDm Elite. I don't compete and I already have a Walther PPQ M45, a couple mid sized 9's (Echelon and Sig P320), a couple smaller 9's for pocket carry. Then I read this article and I realize that everything is going to be alright ... at least for now. https://www.guns.com/news/reviews/springfield-armory-xdm-elite-9mm-review

I have looked in the various threads in the forum and in YouTube for a video that shows the full disassembly and polishing of the internal components but have yet to find one. Anyone know if there is such a video or have they done this? I have done this to all my handguns and it made a noticeable difference in trigger pull or at least taking some of the grit out of the pull. Some firearms...not a lot of difference.

Wanted an elite osp 5 inch, but no one local had the version I could get. I'm in a ban state with a roster of specific model numbers. So I snagged a Mod 2 4 inch. Haven't shot it yet Don't have a specific goal for it. Just throw the modification book at it after I finish a couple other pistol projects. Planned mods are: DPM systems recoil system Red dot cut (wanna grab a hex to keep it in the family) Powder river precision parts Gas pedal And some more I did order 6 mags for it today... I finally gave in and bought all the PRP parts for my XDm .40 that I should've gotten from the giddyup. Extreme trigger kit, titanium striker safety kit, stainless pins, polished striker, upgraded striker retaining pin and the skateboard tape grips. I've always been fond of the XDm's but this dude is a joy to shoot now.
Anyone out west worried about the water shortage happening with the reservoirs.? Both drinking water and electricity shortage?
With everything going on, anyone thinking about attacks on our home lands? Lot of threats flying around
I sent a note to SA Customer Service on their website. I asked them if my XDM Elite 3.8" 10mm could handle very hot factory loads like Underwood 220gr. Flat Nose Black Cherry Coated Hard Cast Hunting Ammo on a regular basis in its stock configuration. This was their reply.... " Your firearm is rated for +p ammunition but with the hot ammo you do have a higher chance of cartridge case failures." Could someone translate this for me? What do you think they mean by...
