I recently bought a 2017 XE (model year 2018) with 58k miles and the 20t Ingenium and would like the 25t upgrade to squeeze out some more power. Stumbled over this thread: https://www.xeforums.co.uk/threads/lr-retrofits-20t-to-25t-upgrade.12960/ contacted them but they need the car on site for the upgrade - i'm in Switzerland so unfortunately not an option. Found this company (same photos and text as LR retrofits, maybe a partner company?)... JLR Retrofit - any experience? 20t to 25t upgrade

Hi guys, recently had a bit of an issue. Started engine one morning and could hear the revs fly and come back down straight away ( I know these have high idle but was a different RPM spike to the usual). Didnt think much of it and carried on my journey, the next day the same thing happened but this time with an EML. Read the code as PO366 camshaft position sensor. Cleared the code and hadn’t returned for about 400 miles with no ominous noises or obvious difference in driving quality. Now... Timing chain issue on petrol ingenium?

I had my xe 180D serviced at my local garage. New battery (same as original. 3 lt adblue. 3 new exhaust brackets +full service. The adblue countdown still does not show the increase of the added milage amount. Any advice welcome. Thanks.

My XE (now a handful of days over 7 years in age) has been throwing up the "Battery Low Please Start Engine" message - my CTEK charger suggests all is OK but after a few days of messages I decided on a battery swap. Halfords seemed cheapest so off I went. To my surprise there was another Jaguar owner in front of me (F-Pace) whose vehicle was also a handful of days over 7 years old. Once battery was replaced he had to connect the usual device to the car to say that a new battery had been... XE Battery replacement after 7 years (to the dot...)

I thought that I had posted this but cannot find it anywhere. Any pointers to changing front and rear pads on a 2015 2 litre petrol? I have tried to find a list of torque settings for the caliper bolts but searching gives a range of figures.

Morning all. A bit of a weird question but, can anyone advise how the heck i can charge my samsung galaxy mobile from the USB port in my vehicle? I have tried gawd knows how many different typeC charges including official samsung charges and I repeatedly get the same messenger on the screen stating, there are no compatible apps for this phone. I have left the charger plugged in on an hours drive and it hasn't put a single percentage of charge on the phone. TIA

Can someone remind me how to edit my signature? I'm sure I've done it before but, try as I might, I can't find any way in my account settings of doing this. I can bring up my signature but there is no "edit" button I can press.

Help please. I still have my XE and JLR have done an update in the past week which now wants me to use biometric access to get to the account. It was linked with this but will not connect as the icon just spins without connecting. I have forgotten how to connect it to the device and car sequence. The remove app from phone drive for about 5 miles then press overhead button. Can someone please assist me with the process in full with the actual process

Hi, I have recently purchased a 2016 XE R-Sport 25T. I have an issue when coming to a stop. The disc pads are all new and work very effectively, however, when trying to come smoothly to a halt, with light pressure of the brake pedal, the car is adversely effected by the transmission working ts way down through he gears. Each downshift is quite obvious and creates the feeling you would get if you were coming on and off the brake pedal. Is this normal for this vehicle? I have selected... Engine braking

Hi, I have, in my way , a Propeller 20 inch wheel that has been kerbed and a separate almost unused Continental Winter Contact 255/25/20 non Jaguar Size tyre which was supplied to me in March 2023). I am not confident if the wheel is front or rear but I've just measured it from outside rim across to outside rim and it's 9 inches. The reason that I'm not confident about F/R is that there's a confusion between a repair shop, a refurbishing workshop and my regular winter/summer... Free Wheel and Tyre

hi, can anyone help me, i got an engine management warning light come on, when i got it checked it was the nox sensor bank 1 sensor 2 issue, i checked with jaguar and they quoting me £767 just for the sensor, is this correct or is there an alternative aftermarket part i can get or has anyone else had this issue and how did you resolve it
