Fabric shrinkage can become frustrating when a garment fits perfectly in a sample but changes after washing. I have been wondering how experienced brands handle this before moving into a larger production run. Do manufacturers usually test the fabric first, or is shrinkage mainly considered when creating the pattern? the apparel partner made me curious about how different teams approach this stage. What methods have worked well for keeping finished measurements consistent after washing?

Hello, Thank you for your feedback! Here are the answers to your questions: 1. To stop opening the video player after recording: Go to Video -> Settings -> Options tab -> Uncheck [Open video player after recording]. 2. To move the recording box: - If the control bar is attached at the bottom, click the arrow icon (^) on the right side to move it back to the top for easier handling. - You can drag the recording box by holding the empty space on the control bar (between the resolution display and the sound icon). If this is not the area you were referring to, please provide more details or a screenshot, and we will gladly check it further for you. We hope this helps!
when i stop the recording, it goes directly to a media screen where i can see and play the video and upload , edit, transcribe. but it doesnt let me start another recording like the previous version did. i have to cancel out, and reset up a rectangle from scratch. did i set it up wrong? also, why didnt they add a "move bar". they have icons for everything else in the world, but no set place to grab and move around. one has to guess where a blank area is to grab...miss it, and u opened something up. if the box is too small, there is no room to grab. thank you in advance.
Hello, Thank you for the screenshot. This error may occur if another app takes exclusive control of the HDMI audio device. Please try these 2 steps to see if it resolves the issue: 1. Disable Exclusive Mode - In Bandicam's Recording settings, click the [Setting...] button next to your audio device. - In the Sound window, right-click your audio device and select Properties. - In the Advanced tab, uncheck "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device". Click OK. 2. Select Default Output Device Set the Primary Sound Device to (Default Output Device) in Bandicam and click OK. If the issue persists, reinstalling your AMD audio driver may also help. For further assistance, please feel free to contact us via email at bandicam@bandicam.com . Best regards, The Bandicam Team
HDMI in Philco TV
When I disable audio in Bandicam, the recording starts and works, but it only captures the video without any audio. Complete silence. Now, when audio recording is enabled, an error message box appears.
Hello Bandicam Support Team, I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing with video recording on Bandicam. Whenever I try to record with the audio source enabled, the software throws an error message related to the audio, and the recording fails to start. To give you some context about my setup: I am using a Philco TV as my primary monitor, connected via an HDMI cable. Because of this, my system's audio output is routed through the HDMI (the TV speakers). I have tried troubleshooting the issue and found the following: If I completely disable the HDMI audio source in Bandicam, the software records the video normally, but obviously, the final file has no sound. If I try to enable the HDMI audio source to capture the sound, the error box pops up immediately, and it won't record at all. I am not sure if using a TV via HDMI as an audio source is known to cause compatibility issues or conflicts with Bandicam's audio codec. Could you please advise if there is a specific audio configuration, format, or workaround I should apply to successfully record both the video and the HDMI audio from my setup? I can provide screenshots of the error message and my current settings if needed. Thank you for your time and assistance. Hi Cedric, Thank you for your kind words and great suggestion! We have shared your feedback with our development team to consider adding an option or warning notice in a future update. Thanks again for your support! Best regards, The Bandicam Team
Hi Bandicam team, Thanks and congratulations on your fantastic piece of software I sometimes disable audio recording for silent screen captures, but then forget to re-enable it when I later record an important video call. Unfortunately, I only discover afterwards that the entire recording has no sound. It would be great to have an option such as: ☐ Enable audio recording on startup Alternatively, Bandicam could display a big and clear warning when starting a recording with audio disabled (e.g. “ Audio recording is disabled ”). Either solution would help prevent accidentally losing the audio of an important recording. Thank you for considering this! Cedric (Registered user).
Hello, Unfortunately, separate audio track/channel recording is currently only available in Screen Recording mode and is not supported in Audio-only Recording Mode. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have forwarded your request to our development team for future updates. Thank you!
