Do these fishing APPS WORK ? The ones I see give you a % of what the best chance to catch fish during a a certain time in a 24 hr period time. At a certain spots on GOOGLE MAP , real close to the spots u want to fish. Right down to the exact locations. They look at temps , wind , water temp, moon , everything you can think of. Some are free to a certain degree and some cost a lot of money for the extra information that they could give. I fish off the bank and pier in Kewaunee WI almost 100%... Do these fishing APPS WORK ?

This is a question mostly geared toward older people...but anyone can answer. As a child (1960's, 1970's) I can only remember going to the Doctors Office 4 or 5 times. Awhile back i think i made a post about my new 55lb powerdrive troller not working. Felt like it was binding up. Figured i would tear it apart tonight amd see before i order new parts. Got it tore down and pulled the stator (i believe is the part name) and found a piece of copper wire in the lower unit. Seems like this was causing the binding up and not running. Looked everything over really good and cant see anywhere it broke off, motor works just fine, no funny sounds or anything... A little good luck....i think

Help my dumb self out. Was thinking on hitting a small river here soon for some night fishing. Would say it averages 4-5' deep with some holes 10-12' deep spread out. My question is, could the water be to warm for fish? Will they leave that small river and head elsewhere say back to the lake? Will the warmer water have them in the deeper holes even if its a few degrees cooler? I almost feel like the water is just to hot, its a very very slow moving river, mud bottom.

Was just reading this article, and most of us know that fishing during a full moon or new moon can yield good results, but I've never thought about day fishing being better during a new moon, and night fishing better during a full moon. Seems to make sense though, has anyone noticed better day fishing during a new moon and better night fishing during full? A while back I could acess a army corps web site that would give you hourly updates on dam flows and outgoing water temps. Kinda miss not being sble to see if gates are open or they are just running thru generators. Was kinda nice to know what the water temps thru dam were also. This let you know if water from top or bottom of resevoir. Found in fall water from bottom was warmer and attracting fish. Also oposite in spring but attracting different fish. Now that site tells me I cant... Water flows and temps for Missouri river

Starting with the bait issue i shoulda stayed home haha. Caught several dozen small green sunfish, got tonthe house and realized bucket had turned over and water had drained mostly out. Had several dead ones but alot were ok. Almost to the river and truck brakes make a terrible noise, got to looking amd the bottom calliper bolt has decided to leave. Limped to the river and figured i would move top bolt to bottom to keep the caliper from hitting rim when i stop, bad idea. Few miles down the... Skunked
