I am currently dumbfounded and need help! I was driving my 2018 2.8l down the road and without warning it shut off and wouldn't start back. Towed it to a local dealership they have had it for 4 months and semm to not be able to figure out what's wrong with it. Only code is for the crankshaft sensor. They scoped tone wheel and it is fine. They are saying they are checking to see if it jumped time. I don't know what else to do it what it could be. Any advice would help!

2017 deleted straight pipe with muffler. Engine light flickered for a second or two the last two days climbing up the mountain to my home. No codes on computer. Truck runs fine. Do I need to take a trip to the mechanic.

First of all, technically I do not own a Colorado even though of course this is a Colorado forum but same thing as the canyon pretty much (I own a 2018 GMC Canyon Denali). Anyway, a couple of months back I was researching delete kits as my check engine light came on for my DPF. it ended up self healing so I did not make any moves, but I would still like to pursue this path. I was originally thinking of getting the Diesel Dudes complete kit, but the $2500 give or take price tag is just a bit... Delete Kit/Tune Questions

These guys in Australia tore down a Holden Colorado (same engine and tranny; LWN and 6L50) to find what was causing the shudder. At the end he actually says it was a bad valve that killed the torque converter and that simply putting in a new TC would only be a short term solution. What's everyone's thoughts?

I replaced the driver's side which had a short but also replaced the passenger side as well. This is the original passenger side OEM that came with the 2017 Diesel Colorado. Hate to throw it away.

Anyone know about Great White North? "Off road" tuning? Spoke to them, discussed products. thinking of tuning. Anyone here have any experience with them or know anyone that does? I can't seem to find much with the goggles as far as "reviews" or anything else. I have however seen the name mentioned in the forums. So I'd like to hear the good, bad or indifferent if anyone has anything. Thanks.

Couldn’t find much, so figured I’d ask. Anyone here running a mbrp resonator? If so, how did u like it and did it help any? My truck has full 3” exhaust with mbrp muffler. At highway speeds anything above 70 I’ll get a drone in the truck cab. I put around 150-200 miles a day on the truck and majority of that is highway, so looking to quiet her down a little. Found a 3” mbrp resonator that I’m thinking of mounting as close as I can to the downpipe.

I replace my #2 EGR temp sensor with a Genuine GM one about 6 weeks ago and then replaced my DPF Filter about 3 weeks ago. On friday it started to do a regen so I drove it around for about 100 miles,( seamed kind of long ) soot load went down to 52% ( on my Banks I gauge ) and then it gave me a check engine light. It was P244C Exhaust temp too low for particulate filter regeneration Bank 1. The last time I had this code the #2 EGR temp sensor was stuck on 264* that is why I replaced it. I... I'm not being able to complete a regen, my DPF exhaust gas temp sensors #4 gets to 875* and #5 gets to the desired temp of 1175* at 55 to 65mph speeds. At slower speeds 20 to 25mph #4 gets up to 1050 to 1100* and #5 stays at 1100* temps. So I replaced the Low pressure Diesel Hydrocarbon Injector ( diesel fuel injector in the exhaust before the DPF ) I took it for a cruise and now both the #4 & #5 exhaust gas temp sensors won't go above 950*. I have a P0422 code that came up after I changed out my Indirect Fuel Injector and did a Service regen. I have a new DPF, new Particulate matter sensor and new Indirect Fuel Injector. I have the Banks Gage and can monitor both NOX sensors and they are both reading correctly so I know the SCR is working, the #2 NOX sensor always reads lower than the #1 NOX sensor. I checked for frayed wires at both sensors and don't have any exhaust leaks I can see or hear. All my EGR & EGT temp sensors are... P0422 CODE WHAT DID YOU DO TO FIX IT

I bought a non running 2017 Colorado 2.8 Duramax. I know NO history and it’s impossible to obtain any. It came to me with the front two injectors missing. I bore scoped all the cylinders to check for cracked pistons and then installed new injectors. I found that the DPF was plugged solid (from an incomplete emissions “relocation” by the previous owner) so I disconnected the exhaust. The engine will crank and fire on about one cylinder and occasionally two. Engine is making good fuel pressure... Crank, No Start. Crank sensor seems ok…
