Just wanted to share my results from a recent supercharger rebuild and a xport. Didn’t expect to gain so much from a already ported unit. Needless to say I’m happy with the outcome. A 60 hp gain. I also added a C&R brick not sure if that adds anything. JT

I have replaced the drivers side fuel injection wiring harness. The car ran great. Now it's misfiring again. I suspect the passenger side fuel injection harness is in need of replacement. However, I can't find one. Is there a replacement for this harness? If not, how do I source a new harness? Is there someone or place that remanufactures these harnesses? Any help is appreciated.
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has bought anything from Weapon X Motorsports recently, I know they had some legal problems with the Ohio AG a while back, are they still in business? https://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news...in-forest-park
I acquired a2012 CTSV station wagen a few weeks ago. The car is great but im spoiled by more current backup cammeras and displays. Anyone have what they think is worth while modification.
Well, it seems as if I've had a lifter fail on the V at approx. 40k miles. So what makes the most sense for a fix? Of course, a cam swap... and headers... and injectors... . I told myself I was going to keep the V stock other than the CAI and axle back already on it. It's strictly used as my summer daily driver and I've been down the rabbit hole of modifying daily's in the past, so I wanted to keep this one stock. After diagnosing the V I had a couple of choices. 1) Just replace the... Good from Bad - Lt1z Stage 2 Cam Swap Time!
Ok so I know there are other similar posts but I'm looking for the answers specific to my case so here it is. I just replaced my old stock SC unit with a brand new unit from DMS which has solid isolator, Kong standard port and ZPE 3"pulley (yes, stock size), along with other mods. First startup after the install I didn't notice it (I was more worried about fuel leakage) but after about 10 miles or so I started to notice rattle noise when I lightly stepped on the gas from a stop. At first I... Rattle with solid isolator
Tired of climbing in and out of Camaros. Owned a modified 2012 CTS-V. Now own a 2011 original CTS-V.
Hey, thanks for letting me join. I'm based in the UK and have a 2011 CTS-V Black Diamond coupe. I came from a Dodge Challenger and also have a 2003 Escalade ESV. It's safe to say I like my American cars! Fuel prices here in the UK are extortionate (around $9.20 for a US gallon for super) but it's worth it. CTS-Vs are extremely uncommon in the UK; I've never seen another one on the road. Challengers are more common but still rare. I'll be looking at the forum to get advice on ownership, I... First some background...I purchased my completely stock 09 V Sedan in 2012 w/62k miles. The following year, I made my first all stock passes at the strip and it averaged 12.30 @ 115 MPH with high 1.90's 60 ft on Hankook street tires. In 2014 I got some 265/40-18 M/T DR's and mounted them to some old aluminum wheels I had laying around. Back to the track in 2014, I ran a best of 12.006 @ 119 with a 1.76 60 ft, so the DR's work, but the air had to be much better for that MPH! At that point... I was told it made 730 on e when i bought it and i dyno’d it today and it made 616 and 649. Long story short, I think I got hosed on a rebuild. It's my first time having it done but I have enough knowledge to be dangerous and my gut says I got taken advantage of. I'm really just look for those with experience to say that's normal or that's shit. I had a local machine shop rebuild my motor this winter. They mainly deal in SBC race engines and not much LS but they seemed pretty confident. Figured they've been around 30 years and have a good reputation I should be all set...
