Just bought my 2014 Honda CTX. Owned a Yamaha V-Star 1100 before that. I would like to add some affordable saddlebags or panniers. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm from Ridley Park, PA. Near Philadelphia.

Hello folks. I just bought a 2014 CTX700 DCT/ABS with 250 miles on it. The bike sat for most of its 10 year life but looks mint and rides quite well. I had all the fluids and tires replaced and I'm enjoying the bike. But ... I have two original Honda keys for the bike. I noticed that it was difficult to get either key to move the ignition cylinder and to insert/remove either key from the cylinder. It would take some jiggling but eventually was able to take the key out of the cylinder... Honda Keys Having Difficulty w/ Ignition and Fuel Cover
I'm in the market for a set of original equipment saddle bags for a 2014 CTX 700 DCT. I would prefer red.
Bummer: One of my LED auxiliary lights has gone bad; and because most LED light cans don't have swappable bulbs, the whole can is landfill. And unfortunately, the light style is no longer made. So I guess I'm buying a new set of aux lights. At least they're not expensive... I just hate to throw away the old, still working light. And I definitely have to mount them better.
For about 9 months, I’ve been planning a trip on my motorcyle that will last 2 weeks and take me over 900 miles away. On this forum, I read about the SherpaX trailer by Kip Moto. It seemed like a great solution for my needs, being so far away and for so long, with needing to bring special “gear” for a conference I’m attending. I ordered it in January; it arrived in late April. When it arrived, there was a PROBLEM. The pictures I’m attaching will show the problem much better than I... A “SherpaXccident”

I took the back wheel in for a new shoe and when I brought it back a few days later my hardware was all knocked around (was outside) and I have no idea where I pulled this from. Anybody recognize it? It's a free moving washer nut. I was thinking it goes on the break. If so I missed it. I did try looking through the schematics on Revzilla without luck.
Where do the battery straps hook on the CTX700N? I cant lock them down.
I just received a set of T-Rex spool adapters and attempted to install them. No joy! The left side adapter simply will not slide between the swingarm and the chain rotor. I have an email in to T-Rex asking for help, but I don't know how responsive they are, so I'm asking here, too. The most recent posts I can find are from a member who hasn't been on the forum for about 4 years, as far as I can tell. His posts didn't say how he got the left adapter on, just that he did and they worked... Installing T-Rex Spool Adapters
Hi Everyone. I have 2 of these bikes a 14/Mine and a 16/hers. Took the plunge to take off the fairing. It wasn't bad until I had to drill out the 2 hex #5s that hold the top cover on. They will be replaced by some SS Bolt/washers and nut. Now that everything is off- A few questions for you folk: Im at 30,000km on the bike, The air filter as you can see was a mess. It will be replaced. Any recommendations on what else should do? Things I'm questioning 1) The obvious is a valve... Fairings off, now what
When I bought my bike in January this year the previous owner had installed a cigarette lighter socket on the left hand side speaker panel. The ugly socket was bad enough but the wiring gave me nightmares. The socket is rated for 15A and he wired it straight to the battery with 7.5A twin flex (I think you call it lamp cord in the US) with a 15A fuse........ A fuse is supposed to protect the cable...... Anyway while I was removing all the questionable wiring he installed (not just the... Volt meter installed
Late in life I made a friend who I got hooked on motorcycling. After a year or so of riding an old Silverwing I gave him. he purchased this 2014 NTC700. Before he had a chance to put 100 miles on it he passed. His mother asked me to sell it. I have been riding motorbikes for the past 58 years.
