Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner Jack Barclay Edition. #9 of 9 built

I let my heart rule my head today and bought a Bentley unseen from an auction, not just any Bentley but a Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner with a twist. There were only 100 Brooklands R Mulliner cars built and this is number 98 which means that it is a Jack Barclay Special edition of which there were only 9 and this is the very last Jack Barclay Special in that line of 9 special cars. You can read about these special cars... Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner Jack Barclay Edition. #9 of 9 built

Detailing Industry shifting

Is the detailing industry shifting its focus from real expertise to ego and paid promotion? Recently, I’ve seen a lot of noise online with people in our trade calling out other detailers—even down to criticising what someone chooses to wear in their own unit. When you look past the noise, it raises a few serious questions about where detailing is heading: 1️⃣ Is internal division holding us back? Instead of elevating the trade and sharing knowledge, there’s a growing trend... Detailing Industry shifting

1990 Volvo 740GL

Picked this up yesterday. One owner, who I've know for over 30 years. He had it as a company car, then bought it off them when he retired. He is an absolute font of Volvo knowledge! My son and I gave it a one day wash, polish and spray sealant last year - the single stage paint was a pain! More to follow!

Headlight Restoration

One of my headlights on my Toyota Prius Gen 3 are yellowing/clouding a bit and have been since I got the car (2 years ago). Have been meaning to restore both and have all the equipment but haven't had the time until now. I have watched a lot of videos, lots of information and different methods. Just a bit confused as to what's the highest grit I should stop at before applying a clear coat? If I understand it correctly, you don't want a high/fine grit so the clear coat spray doesn't have... Potential scammers warning - please read!

Folks, I would advise all to read this in full but if not then please be aware of potential scam accounts on the site messaging direct to avoid sales rules. As moderators we have noticed a few new members who have created accounts under a very similar username to genuine members with one digit of a difference. As a recent example we had a new member yesterday rugbyboyy which has since been banned as suspected spam. The genuine member is rugbyboy (no connection to the fake account and to... Greased frightening (re-greasing a DA polisher)

After seeing many YT clips of people putting grease into their polisher, I thought I would give it a go. Bought some Red 'n' Tacky grease a little while ago ready to do the job. I have already practised this procedure on my DAS 6 (works with less vibration now and feels smoother in operation), the next victim is my In2detailing DA 9 v2 polisher which I am documenting here. First, I removed the backing plate using the supplied spanner. Then I removed the plastic cover by taking out the... Greased frightening (re-greasing a DA polisher)
