I’ve heard that it can be easy to miss a timing cover bolt when reinstalling, well I did something even dumber. I missed one of the bolts, then managed to lose it. Does anyone know the size/ thread pitch/ grade of the timing bolts and where I can find them? Is it possible to just buy one? Does anyone make an after aftermarket kit that sells all of them and has anyone tried any of those out. I’ve attached a photo of the bolt location that I misplaced Thanks in advance

Hello, I’m working on my 2011 F150 Ecoboost 3.5 XLT with about 98k miles. I’ve got a problem I’ve just gotten totally lost with. At first, the problem was that it ran rough and occasionally hard started, the code was P0087 fuel rail pressure too low. I decided to swap the fuel rail pressure sensor, all spark plugs and 2 coils. It drove good for about a day, then it started having the same problem. New code this time, P2195, 02 sensor signal biased/stuck lean, bank 1 sensor 1. Replaced both... Running lean problems

I’ve been lurking on other posts that seem to have similar issues but I don’t have enough privileges to post on them for any follow up. I love my 2014 F150 eco boost , been taking great care of it . Went and got an oil change and suddenly learned about the leaking turbo connectors ...........I think there is other coolant leaks too and I got a quote for $4,000 !!!! Shocking because it only has 130,000 . I found the "Full-Race 2011-2016 Ford F-150 Turbocharger Coolant Line Upgrade Kit" . I'm gonna find someone that can do it cheaper than $4,000 because that seems crazy expensive . Is there any other Hidden poorly... Should I sell and get a newer model ? 2014 F150 eco boost ?

any ideas / suggestions how to restore twin turbos for my ecoboost ? who has already done it and had good experience with what parts? where you baught them ? Is it worth considering buying "chinese" but expensive ones, that seemed to be quality turbos ? need a solution ASAP ((( my f150 is stranded , engine is out , full chains ordering new , new phasers, seals and many oother parts... damn expensive rebuild much appreciatedanswers !

In my 2023 F 150 they have reduced the refuel port to a smaller size with a flap just big enough for the pump nozzle making it harder to add a bottle of dry gas or octane booster. Haven't tried a lot with a small funnel but was wondering if there is a little trick I'm missing. I don't want to drizzle that stuff down the side of my truck but can't imagine you never need that stuff especially the dry gas. Any tips out there in the wild ! Thanks

Hey Gang, Looking for a little insight if anyone has faced same problem, I have a 2021 lariat 3.5 ecoboost that came with regular mirrors, I recently bought a camper, so I upgraded to aftermarket tow mirrors. The Mirror adjustments for down/right don’t work on passenger or driver, up/left work fine on both. I have verified with the manufacturer the wiring is correct and match up wires with f150 schematic, Everything else works -running lights -puddle light -spot light -BSM fuction -flasher... 2021 F150 Aftermarket Tow Mirror Issues

This is a long vent ramble question discussion sleep deprived and oil covered post while taking the first shot of the day. At 10:25. Still have work in the am.. enjoy I guess. First things first, working on a f150 eb platinum 2013. Decided today I’ll fix the issue of a passenger leaking valve cover and hopefully prevent that damn smoke from coming (it didn’t work btw but still fixed the leak) So I get it all unhooked and get the cover off… nightmare anyways, everything that could go wrong... Hey guys, I just finished changing the front seal in my 2013 6R80 transmission. I'm not able to start it up yet until I install a coolant part comes in that I had to order. The past 2 days YouTube has been spitting a million torque converter seating videos at me and now I'm 2nd guessing my work. I'll ask here for your opinions. While lining the transmission back up to the ring gear, I was able to align all 4 flex plate bolts through and had 100% mating contact between the bell housing... Hey all, I’m looking for some direction. I have a 2019 f-150 Limited with 100,000 miles. I have vibrations throughout the cab when in park and in drive with my foot on the brake. The truck idles around 600 rpm and dips to around 570 when the vibrations start. Once it dips in rpm it’ll kick up to around 700 rpm and the vibration ceases. This happens continuously. It doesn’t throw any codes, I just replaced the cam phasers, timing chain, spark plugs, coil packs and cleaned the throttle body. I... 2019 3.5 High Output vibrations at Idle

For those that dont know, I have both a 2.7 F150 and a Ram Hemi etorque. I decided I wanted to check out the comparable offerings of the big 3. Ram Hurricane 3.0 (standard output) the fact that they thought it could compete with any Ecoboost is comical at best. Sure the inline 6 is a strong engine, but the delay, lag, and weird programming they used completely ruins the truck. Also, the gas mileage was the exact same as my Hemi V8...that has a lift and tires. I test drove it today, laughed... I tried all 3....Ecoboost is still the best.
