Meet my other Strat - Emerald Coast! I got over all of the Vintage crap and went with my original vision...also 20+ years in the making/realization. 2018 Fender American Elite; 2 gen4 Noiseless, Shawbucker bridge, S1 switching, locking tuners, 2 point trem. I don't care to keep derailing the TS thread, so I'll document my journey here Overview I ordered an ODR-1. The new ones can't be modded because it's all SMT. The old ones are expensive. So you gotta find one in the middle. I don't know if I got a good one, because online experience is sparse, but I know that if it has a bass cut and 18v headroom, it is too new to be of use to me. So I just bought one that said only use a 9v power supply on the back. Here is a diagram... Read more

Changed up some of my gear recently and interested in hearing what you're using.. and yes this is a discussion of pedals and amps combined.. 1. My favorite rig is also my lightest.. I don't know if the photo comes through but it's simply a Black Star HT going into a Sidekick.. the black star gives me an actual tube going from bypass to warm crunch and up to metal. The Sidekick is a delay, chorus with excited reverbs in a tight little easily controlled unit. It's great to have at the end of... Read more

So I did a little random riffing with this thing Les Paul, Pearly Gates Bridge > Boss SD1 > Marshall JCM800 > 4x12cab Greenbacks > Shure 57 > Boss SDE-3 > Scarlett 2i2 > Garage band. 1. Dry guitar 2. Simple delay ~400ms 3. Short offset 4. 100ms offset 5 100ms offset with modulation (<<<<This is 100% pure 80's awesome!!!) 6. Stereo 100ms offset with modulation, Dry left +6, Wet right +12 7. Stereo 10ms offset with modulation Dry left + 20 , Wet right +20 8. Just for fun dotted 8th, no... Read more

Good evening, I have a cort LTD 1000T eclipse that has a JB in the bridge and a 59 bridge pick up in the neck position. The neck pickup is super muddy, over all the guitar lacks clarity in my opinion. But I am more I happy with the bridge pickup tone. Is there a dramatic difference between the voicing of a neck and bridge pickups between the neck and bridge positions, would installing a 59 neck PU solve the issue? Thanks in advance!

Which one did you pick up today? The Ol workhorse Gibby V here in the corner. This one gets the most use of all my guitars, by far.
